The actor who plays the ex husband is incredible. he is properly conveying guilt and sarrow but at the same time can be ruthless and terrifying in some of those hallucinations. acting wise this show stands out with many capable actors.
The production is very unique making this drama standout. we had a lot of face swap/transmigration/rebirth dramas throughout the years so glad to see the artistic style is as good as the story so far. even the score is pretty good' reminded me kinda of journey to you which i loved last year

I never watched yanxi palace. but seriously love her acting in this. Very well thought out microexpresissions. usually we get FLs who tend to overexagerate but this one is quite elegant and subtle. hopefully they don't ruin her character later on cuz it has the chance to be one of my faves.
Finally caught up eith all the episodes. it's a 10/10 for me so far. I like almost everything. FL is the best one we got yet this year. And we had some good ones recently. so smart , so elegant and with an purpose. I feel like with this we'll finally get actual revenge for a change. the actress is so freaking good and charismatic in this role I regret not knowing of her before. it's a pretty smart show and so far the antagonist aka the stepmother is pretty competent. I am not skipping any part

I imagine it will have to diverge quite a bit from the novel to confront the change.

Yeah I tried to watch jol this weekend to understand the hype. but once FL got introduced I lost all interest. I just have zero tolerance anymore for ditzy cutsy FLs . So yeah I dropped it.

the actress playing the FL has gained a fan in me. I replayed that whole sequence of her throwing the money and having a breakdown multiple times. she has such maturity and sincerity in her acting. Her acting remains natural and real at all times. I truly have come to admire her following this show
