he doesn't seem to be anywhere near proficient. In that fight with the assassins he used his qin and could manoeuver a little bit but had to rely on his guards. same with the last fight. he and ZZ were mostly dodging

XW looked so freaking badass when he literally wasn't moving finger in that fight with the prince of yue. he had people doing all the dirty work while he was unbothered knowing his plan will work. he is proof #1 that a smart character is 100% sexier than a physically strong one

I almost couldn't believe it. I have so much trauma from shit endings we got in so many other dramas this year.

I was worried as well. there was few episodes left and the romance wasn't progressing. they outdid my expectations. the last episodes managed to wrap all subplots AND develop one of the great romances we got in cdramaland.

I hope we get some of the deleted footage at some point. this is one of the rare dramas that never dragged and wished it was longer.

to each their own ig cuz I hated the legends. I rewatch AMA all the time. love their banter and XK's character there was so cute and balanced out BL's.

her greatest pairing to me was with Xu Kai in Arsenal military academy but this pairing with zlh tops it now for me 😍

ANYWAY I will rewatch this multiple times and it has the potential to become my all time favorite. 👏👏👏👏👏 to everyone involved EXCEPT the lighting guy , you deserve a special place in hell for ruining multiple scenes.

when you think about it, every character played an important role. be it XW's friends or XJN's bestie. everyone got their moment to shine. THIS is how you write a good story.
