I don't even know if I noticed all this 🤣I found myself bored and zoning out very frequently in ep1. plus too many characters were introduced. I couldn't get into the FL or ML but it's too early to judge they just didn't grab my attention off the bat as it usually happens to me with shows I like. they prolly get better in later episodes and that's why I said I need to be in a certain mood to force myself to give it few more episodes
This in theory should tick all the boxes for me. I love strong smart FL in historicals. but Idk why I couldn't get past ep 1. Maybe I am just not in the mood. and will go back later to it.
I literally have been rewatching multiple episodes of this masterpiece for the last week now . I don't think I am ready to move on yet. I have zero show that I look forward too in the next months. I guess unless a big surprise , I'll be in a tough drama slump for a while.

he doesn't seem to be anywhere near proficient. In that fight with the assassins he used his qin and could manoeuver a little bit but had to rely on his guards. same with the last fight. he and ZZ were mostly dodging
XW looked so freaking badass when he literally wasn't moving finger in that fight with the prince of yue. he had people doing all the dirty work while he was unbothered knowing his plan will work. he is proof #1 that a smart character is 100% sexier than a physically strong one
