I read the whole novel because I couldn't wait anymore. So many great stuff and sweetness bit also a lot of pain coming up .
I am in love with this show even more it paid great justice to it.

I keep going back and watching yaojing moments. I can't fathom that we'll prolly have to wait a year to see their story wrap up 😭

Every aspect of this drama is very well done.

The FL is incredible. smart and empathetic . and not dumbed down like the majority of FLs
the ML being this emotionally constipated makes it a hard watch though.
I'll give it a few more episodes though before deciding on continuing or not.

This was seriously the best xianxia I ever watched. I recommend anyone who likes strong FLs, multilayered romance and complex characters to watch it .

Off to finish the novel for my yaojing fix.

exactly, that would have been terrible.
we at least had a peaceful moment between XY and her grandfather.

Realistically, I have to say I couldn't have imagined a better ending for S1 than the one we got .

ep 36 was the most emotionally charged yet. I cried buckets with jing, XY and CX here .

A mother who abused his brother, a brother who tortured him and left him for dead, a grandmother who facilitated his SA. no wonder he doesn't want anything to do with the Tushan name .

I knew abt the SA but I didn't know the grandma was the one who facilitated the r***. Seriously disturbing. poor jing who loved her and made to feel guilty over and over again by her.

I also think a r*** trigger should be added to the tags cuz this could be problematic for so many people
