I agree 100%. I know that bad boys who have zero respect for women are
popular in dramas because people romaticize the dynamic of mean boy pulling a girl pigtail but if SQ was indeed innocent his treatment would be horrifying. An d yeah as you said he was a bully since early on as a child when GZY wasn't even in the run for sword wielder .
His brother is at least funny with his jerk attitude (which I love and since there is thankfully no romantic angle to it yet) 🤣

btw the two episodes were noticeably shorter than usual😭

GZY is the heart of this show. Everyone is calculating and bleek so I am glad our ML is genuinely a good person. He cares for others, grieves , values human life, remembers everyone's name, and knows his failings .
He is young and impulsive but he has no other choice but to mature quickly given the situation he is thrown in. I hope he doesn't turn jaded because of FL's betrayal at the end.

how hilarious is Gong Yuan Zhi. the way he mock bowed to widow of the previous sword wielder and only after seeing his brother bowing. Dude has zero respect to anyone besides his brother . LMAO I love him. my favorite character so far.

I agree abt GZS. there would be a very dark somber scene and then she comes too suddenly on screen and it's just not organic. I loved her antics at first but she just doesn't seem to be a natural fit in the story.

ML getting less screen time this episode was good for my sanity . He is just too damn fine I get distracted and can't focus on anything but his pretty face 🤣🤣

I agree. I feel like every storyline is given the time needed. it's a complex story and not just about FLxML dynamic. I feel the story is taking its time as it should.

I'm always cheering for GYZ . He has won my heart with his pettiness and sneaky devious smiles.
I personally don't see chemistry between second leads yet. Too early to judge imo.
GZY is a simple genuine person and so falling in love quickly seemed natural. FL does notice his genuine side and I am afraid it's building up for a tragedy for their couple as well.

I agree I don't think FL is that careless. Since the beginning every "slip up" seem to be intentional on her side.

SGQ and GYZ have more chemistry than with GSJ imo.
GYZ has more charisma. Maybe that's why.
I love SGQ too . Every single move is planned ahead. She seems smarter than the FL at least until we get a full grasp of FL's background and motivations.

FL is 100% not a lower Chi spy after that fight.
