The FL is incredible. smart and empathetic . and not dumbed down like the majority of FLs
the ML being this emotionally constipated makes it a hard watch though.
I'll give it a few more episodes though before deciding on continuing or not.

This was seriously the best xianxia I ever watched. I recommend anyone who likes strong FLs, multilayered romance and complex characters to watch it .

Realistically, I have to say I couldn't have imagined a better ending for S1 than the one we got .

I knew abt the SA but I didn't know the grandma was the one who facilitated the r***. Seriously disturbing. poor jing who loved her and made to feel guilty over and over again by her.

I also think a r*** trigger should be added to the tags cuz this could be problematic for so many people

I agree with some of the comments here in how XY turned into the kind of FLs I hate in that shell. Seriously out of character.
Not how she was potrayed for 30 episodes cuz all of a sudden she regressed to a childish 8 year old. I don't know if it's the same in the novel but it was just ridiculous.
