I don't hate CX i actually find his character so intriguing but I guess i won't help but hate him once he'll do that. I hope at least he'll know the extent of jing's help cuz it seems from today's ep that he thinks CFL is the genius.

I am not a novel reader , knew nothing about the story or the characters before I started but fell in love with jing since the earlier episodes cuz i find his character quite refreshing and unique in dramaland (even compared to our dose MLs on the softer side).
I put myself in your shoes and i admit it's quite the dilemma . I know for certain I wouldn't have have been tempted to continue the show if I knew XL is endgame for example.
but since this show is much more than just yaojing, maybe you can enjoy other aspects of the show . outside of the romantic stories, i find this show has a lot to offer.

i believe she only has romantic feelings toward jing. she only feels like a woman with him. but she loves the other two as well in other ways imo.

it's telling how XY simply wants someone who will put her first but it seems like such a hard thing to ask from all the MLs here:
- CX literally using her for his ambition (with her approval at least)
- XL loyalties lie with CX and XY's enemies.
- Jing can't handle the engagement fast enough to protect XY's feelings.
Still jing is content to live simply by her side so he loves her the most.

something so simple as XY brushing jing's hair is the most romantic thing i have seen in a while 😭😭😭😭
