i will keep an eye on the actor playing CX . I never knew him before. seriously I love his acting. imo he is the standout among the male actors here (not saying the others aren't good) .
he is very subtle in how he conveys emotions and has such a presence in scenes. and I think he was very suited for this role with how complex it's gonna turn out to be.

I love how something as simple as FL feeling shy around jing's naked body almost gave him his humanity and sense of self back. when I thought about it I found it very powerful.

i like bailu as an actress but if the story doesn't draw me in i wouldn't be as interested. here the story seems like my kinda thing.

the way the kiss scene underwater was shot it's 100% meant to be potrayed as romantic. Add to that all the beautiful romantic shots with flowers when traveling together.
If he wasn't a romantic interest I might have enjoyed him too but since there is a romance angle i can't.

i only dislike 1 character and he isn't endgame . apart from him i am immensly enjoying this drama as the FL is exactly the type of FLs I like. smart , self assured and with a purpose. you could say I am more here for her than the MLs. 😁
if xuan turns out to be abusive towards the FL i guess i would just dislike him then as well. again as long as he aint endgame it isn't a deal breaker. I can tolerate antihero MLs some i could even enjoy. i just don't like abusive scenes covered in romance.
