i like the struggles and obstacles cz it's an underdog drama but the fact that one familyis causing all this makes no sense cz all their actions are criminal and yet no evidence or attempt at arresting them is underway? Whenever our leads win there should be an effect on the enemy's company and yet they're still rich? even post IMF? Their reputation should've dented and for a trading company it's detrimental and still nothing? come on what's with the obsession too

ok so there are more ppl to expect from the hound family other than the 2ml (creeped out by him for some reason) but the whip family is taming what ? the fiends? they're supposed to be killed on the spot considering how large their population has become and if the FL is the only combat type then again POWER GAP cz she's still somehow deluded that she can live an ordinary life with the enemy being that of a powerhouse now. if she's scared of losing more how does she expect not to when their main warrior is now gone? she can aspire for a normal life post battle cz it's too late to turn a blind eye now

considering the amount of children being trained in the flashbacks i expected more hunters but why is the gap in power so huge? it all can't ride on the FL and her future hubby right? she hasn't been in the game much and the experienced one is in the hospital after one fight and they have a senior hunter still active after a serious leg problem (this is a monster battle so he'll be the first to die like this) and other members hiding an enemy in the backyard. For this to be a happy ending with them winning, it would be a miracle or everyone dies but the leads cz the power gap is just disastrous.

wait if it's serious spoiling then the only 2 possiblities left is either she joins the hunters (doesn't have the skills for it so low probability) or joins the fiends as she was practically birthed into that life. any other alternative is just not that big a spoiler and so nooooo i don't the dark path for her, she seems nice

is the novel a happy ending? usually such settings end in open endings or one of the leads transforming hence a sad ending cz they need to go their separate ways. Also i get the feeling the 2nd lead is going a dark direction raising a fiend as a pet

honestly this can't be anything but a happy ending cz the sacrifice play that usually happens at the end already played out at the start so a sad ending would be pointless and not as satisfying for these characters' journies but i would like to see how she starts meshing with her old life again with her currect change. it seems the nightmares might be the key to her accessing her past and the switch is helpful for the prince's advancement to wise leadership with a competent queen by his side. i don;t think it's a conditional switch tho but the type that will resolve once all regrets are gone and memories return so this'll be fun!

i would rather the story be about the 2nd leads instead. they're more interesting and WAY HEALTHIER . the FL is what we call a toxic yandere. says one thing but means another as to not hurt herself but who the hell cares if others are hurt. then says they're toxic to one another for fighting. U'RE THE PROBLEM. he only fights cz that's her love language showing someone cares if they endure being her punching bag. which is why she needs to actually date someone completely different to see that no one can tolerate her thought process but the ML and she doesn't enjoy it otherwise. ok the pain of losing someone is a big thing for her and knowing the ML's life is in america is making her push him further but saying he belongs there after repeatedly showing her she is his home is just plain cruel at this point. he came back the moment he read her final statement cz she said she was waiting for him and that's not proof enough? he agreed to a deadline for his stay when he doesn't want to leave and is happy she can use it as an excuse to not get attached to him so she won't be hurt again and YET IS MAD when he might leave earlier? T.H.E.R.A.P.Y
also the lawyer is either doing this as a scheme to get the leads out of their frozen romantic status or he needs therapy too cz no way would he walk into this knowing how messy it'll get (he's way too observant not to notice the leads' deep connection and no way can she develop feelings deep enough towards him to forget the ML)

i figured out the problem, it's the small changes in the first and 2nd episode in the dialogue that ruined the start of the show. the manga had a smoother pace cz the turn of events made sense cz the dialogue wasn't cut while the drama thought it not essential leading to the weird fast paced start. can't really explain what was removed cz it was subtle but it changed the vibe u get from the fl atleast (her actions made her seem easy in the drama but it wasn't like that in the manga) and the ML's actions in not getting mad for saying to meet at her house after just having met was explained more in the manga by his friend so them switching small events' orders ruined the pace . anyways if the manga start was adapted exactly the same then this drama would've been a better hit which is unfortunate cz the rest was well done

ok had his guard died i would've said the 2FL had no way of escaping the ML's revenge at the end but at least she still has a slight chance of surviving the final battle with her love if he manages to knock some sense into her in the next few eps. i hope he doesn't try to save her by getting roped into her plans instead and ends up as the cliche dead traitor since it's more of a romcom than a bloodbath

In regards to the "age gap being obvious" comments, i don't think it's a dig on the actors' looks but more the vibe being portrayed as an accumulation of looks and way too realistic acting. DYX perfected the teenage love portrayal here so his actions come off as that including the kind of pure love his character is meant to have while victoria's portrayal is more of a general falling in love where it's not too stoic but not first love; it's more the look of someone who went thro alot but is now content so it's not meshing well with the teenager act. that's why the gap feels obvious here and sort of off-putting to root for. it's not their fault but the character's settings; WY's growth thro tragedy should've toned down the teenage act a bit and that would've been more charming for someone of CY's maturity honestly but i think that's why her just liking him right now at his stage of development makes more sense than being in love but the growth is too slow making the overall vibe this weird. i guess the last few episodes will show that development and the resulting vibe will be fixed but the damage is already done and the audience will be lost by then which wouldn't have been an issue if this was a story revolving around the FL's journey (this is the vibe it's giving now) and not a romance drama with a title "FIGHT for LOVE". it's not fitting as this is a too political and lukewarm vibe so the expectations held for the drama were not met and disappointing for some. What's sad is that the vibe wanted from this story is by the end rather than throughout the story if not at least mid but we can't always expect the best outcome. I for one had higher expectations cz DYX's former romance centred dramas were well done but honestly can't say the same for victoria cz she's better for less romantic roles and that's just where her skills shine so no harm in admitting that.

yh he says little brother but then cousin so i got confused. Plus i looked over the trailers again and u're right thank god a triangle doesn't happen but a fight for the throne still might be the result.even if the minister's daughter doesn't side with her dad, i don't think the crown prince would accept an end with the minister's bloodline in on the throne so he won't end the series with giving his role to his cousin even if he kills the minister.

it's such a cliche to have the brothers in a triangle with the FL, since she's originally the CP and falls for the ML again (so zero chance for the borther to attempt anything) i hope they don't make the brother a real rival and become the final boss out of revenge and jealousy but a genuine friend in on the body switching as well

is the minister crazy? the ML was obviously at his last thread of sanity and informing him of his monstrous actions in order for his daughter to be the consort and gain more power was the right choice? sure u stopped him from killing himself but what will stop him from slitting ur daughter's throat? will u have someone following him every step including the bridal chamber? never seen a villain so bold with his plans that he expects the ML not to lose his mind and kill everyone (no one left that he loves so what'll stop him?) Nope this must be ruse created by his father to make him stornger and the minister offered to be the villain cz who'd want their advesary to become stronger?

yes it's not that she looks old but her acting gives off an older person vibe which i guess is what they wanted portrayed cz DYX is portraying the younger guy vibe too well too and that's why the chemistry isn't a good as previous matches for these 2. The girl's too stiff in terms of romance and the guy's too love blind which are part of their character writing but not this central and it's making the show blander than expected. What's sad is the way strong female characters are being portrayed in a way where they have this weird mental block towards romance or colder than normal these days. If they act more in love they'd be ridiculed as too love centric and unrealistic and if too cold then it's way too bland and unrealistic again. Strong Generals can balance love and duty without it looking like it's one or the other and yet it's rarely portrayed that well. "legend of the female general" was a good mix but other come off as stiff like here or too much elsewhere

i don't get the hate on the new plot. Are we not bored of rebirth stories that are downplayed or ruined cz of china's regulations? i never expected a rebirth story here anyways so at least this change is better than her prophetically dreaming or gone thro some mysterious event or some other cliche. And a ML who went thro a tragic event in present timeline that leads to her falling is better her than falling for him thro the previous timeline where his experiences aren't the same cz she changed them. At least that's my opinion for this story but rebirth stories are better elsewhere too.

i think the dating happened during the time he pretended to be his brother cz she had a crush on him and not do ha which is why her hate for him is worse and cz she ends up realizing she liked him of course but what he did ruined her memories.

ep 3 begining is so freaking adorable I'm gushing. The way he was rambling so much was so cute and obvious ahhhhh. Whoever caused the separation of this adorable duo later on in the show needs a slap.

The trailer’s angst was forbidden love and society deeming them dirty and so on so it might be that they’ll focus on that as opposed to the novel then. But I get what u mean.

Umm been wondering why ppl don’t want romance in historical dramas, yes it gets boring to just have a romantic focus cz love isn’t everything but is it so bad to want companionship in the form of love? A person’s journey expands their physical and emotional capacity whether it’s good or bad. Having friends is nice but a romance offers more as well so I don’t get the hate on him getting a FL. It’d actually be sad and lonely for someone as powerful and possibly ending as immortal without falling in love once in a while.

The FL ends up regretting marrying the brother cz she falls for the ML and the angst is that society won’t see their love as pure and whatnot. Is it really that much of an issue? She married him post death so no consummation so the marriage should be void anyways. Plus it’s the “brother’s wife”, technically many have married brother’s widows, at least it wasn’t the father’s concubine or something like how princes marry them post getting the throne. So o don’t see the issue society would find in them other than initial dislike/discomfort and who cares!!! U’re fighting death threats and famiky eradication, a little scandal would not matter. I hope the angst won’t be too long like “Yummy Yummy” did
