They should’ve just gone the way the anime did instead of giving us the past lives first knowing they’ll be sad endings. Now if they make the modern version, there won’t be much to tell and it’ll be a mess even if it’s a happy closure to the stories. How to go into this knowing it’ll be a brutal last arc. I hate that they gave the prequel first too making us love the father only to watch his bitter change here so instead of hating him, it’s just sad for the both of them.

is this really zero romance? it feels like a wasted potential when it's so amazing with everything so far. he softens up along the way cz of his friendships and so on; a romance would add to that and this actor is a so good in portraying that.

the prequel for the parents will explain why he the way he does here but not too important for the progress of the story

this is gonna be cliche but i have a feeling the grandfather found out the son in law is the one behind the accident and shifted the blame on the kid to cover up the crime cz he doesn't want it out. the grandmother might've not known tho but suspected over the years and now wants wooju to get his rightful seat for his father but won't uncover the truth cz of the company's rep so atleast he can get his spot if not revenge. BUT IT WAS SO OBVIOUSLY NOT AN ACCIDENT. Wooju would've realized if he didn't feel guilty but from the flashback, the truck swerved to the car's lane not the other way around and meri's dad might've noticed something wrong and killed on his way home away from the police station either by the grandfather to cover it up or by the son in law to make sure no one knows

So the one to save the realm has to have spiritual veins and been poisoned by the heavenly grief and automatically the ML thinks he’s the only one to sacrifice? Does he not know his wife by now? I hope they don’t go with him breaking up to save her from heartbreak and she ends up helping him at the end and forgiving him for hiding the truth. I hope this time he tells her “ I need to do this to save the world and my poison already relapsed” and she tells him “are u stupid, u go alone u die, we both go and we might survive this. Did u forget I got poisoned too?” I swear protagonists with hero complex need to chill.

Since the drama’s changed, how did the transition from eldest lady to like own another happen? Was it early on or much later after he gets a legitimate marriage candidate that incites her jealousy? ( I’m sure he liked her first ) her problem would be changing brotherly love to romantic

So the empress is the bitch that abandoned her son and used someone else to deceive the emperor and he blames that innocent child and her father? Karma would be JBZ rejecting the family and fighting for jixing after being cured. He has zero compassion for them and they deserve it. They mistreated the one person who was loyal to them and expect to be treated better by a son who hates higher realms ppl? Dream on. Those assholes deserve to fall from their pedestal.

yes but it gave situ ling time to get the ingredient needed for her to make the cure that led to him threatening to kill JBZ if she doesn't marry him. Ppl like him that don't take the hint after multiple rejections are not a threat directly but they love to manipulate shit behind the scenes to get what they want. it's hard to predict his actions but saying he will always be a friend and to live for himself is not the way to go. He literally force fed her his blood AND told her while confessing his feelings "i saved your life, you appreciate that don't you" and moving closer to her like a creepy foreshadowing that he will get his favor from her. So many red flags from this guy and at least a strong rejection is better than a gentle let down that gives hope to these delusional men. Anyways so far we might say it's not that bad but marrying him to save ur guy? for real? u think he'll happily give u the one thing to save his love rival AFTER causing his poison to relapse? u'd save more time by stealing it and run off

i knew watching ep 27 would make my blood boil but EVEN HER MASTER THINK THAT BLOOD CURE IS LEGIT??? come on, would GMD be created if so? has he not examined her before the cure and saw she was healing really well? Feng shui , for real? that helped? come on like that'll help. BE more sus ppl. JBZ deserves the misunderstanding if he won't speak his mind for once. if u don't want to tell her u cured her so she doesn't suspect why u're dying fine. at least tell her u love her in those exact words. stop with the romantic tension of longing when nothing is left to separate u!!! they're creating openings and ask why it can't be easy.

i honestly blame MY for situ ling's continued delusions post GMD reveal. She already thanked gently before helping as a friend and knows he might harbor affection due to gratitude for the past but seeing him STILL actively pushing himself on her, force feeding her his blood, asking why JBZ was there when they were meeting (he's her hubby, back off) and completly treating JBZ like he was part of a deal for her and should back off; all of this showcase his feelings so much that she is feeling uncomfortable and yet she at least does not just tell him directly to treat him better cz he's someone she loves or to stop acting entitiled to have her (ok she said she is loyal to him but only as a friend but that still doesn't cut all hope). I don't even know why she's not with the ML when everything is out and he still chose to kiss her/ love her. Even if u don't want ur husband to grow attached to u so he's not hurt when u die, allowing that SL idiot to run his mouth is hurting him even more. The ML isn't helping either by allowing her to think situ ling saved her while trying to get her back, JUST TELL HER. I thought all the lies might've made him realize honesty is the best policy by now but i guess they love the secrets. You reap what u sow son

Honestly JBZ should’ve expected something to go wrong when he hid the fact he gave her GMD as a silent hero when he’d her freaking husband. MY agreeing to the favor isn’t too bad but the moment she found out her hubby was dying from poison for saving her should’ve voided the favor but I guess the dude sacrificing part of his life even if it didn’t heal her was still something that would weigh on her (kinda looking healthy but whatever). Honestly situ ling needed to manipulate her and want her hubby dead for us to see him as a villain we want dead than a delulu second lead who was just trying to save her.

So.. found out how the FL wears that stupid red dress and almost married that delusional bug. It wasn’t a spell or drug, just plain old “ I’ll give u the one ingredient I magically have that u need to save ur boy’s life if you marry me” and somehow JBZ was not sick enough to save the day. Either the delulu dude gets the hint and just gives the tree or the FL’s father might’ve found it out of gratitude to the man who saved his daughter (tho he initially hated him). I want the second option, less cliche than the first one

can someone clear something for me? why didnt JBZ take the antidote if he needed it too? and why wasn't he as affected as the FL when he had it longer? Also if he didnt take it cz his master told him not to give to the world while having made this one dose with the knowledge JBZ is poisoned mean that him taking it is the best way? PPL are already going after him thinking he has it so what's the point of not taking it? Sure they needed this part for the FL to make the antidote for him and reconcile but it doesn't really make sense UNLESS GMD is not a pill/substance and he actually did heal himself with it but because he gave it away, he's losing it's effect. In this case wouldn't creating another GMD mean the FL will lose it's effect or is it cz she's CREATING another that she it can work? If the ingredients are so rare, i don't know how her aunt expects her to " create many to save lives"

Will there be anymore sweet scenes/kiss/ maybe real wedding? in the coming episodes?Based on the OST and trailers, we already saw everything so what's left is the unpacking of the plot with no real time together but ONE scene (her reclining on his lap while sitting on a tree and smiling as they gaze at the sky- hopefully that's the end but is it the only happy moment left?)

yh that's my point, how are villains alway written as the ones with knowledge ahead all the time. That fox girl is a cheat character for him

i think the master main regret is that she aided in the abandonment (under coercion but she still knew where he was all these years) and then acted as a savior so she can weaponize him against his family for revenge for hers. Basically same premise as the FL (acting then liking the guy) and now feels sorry for him. Her guilty look when she told him if he's sure he wants to do this although it's dangerous was her last shot giving him an out but again it was too late cz he's already indebted to her. This guy has been emotionally manipulated his whole life under "good intentions" by the good and bad guys that it makes me hate everyone no matter how their actions make sense. He deserves a hug the most.

yh u'll notice him making sure she eats every bit of the pancake and then when they got back him saying to her that he "handled" the GMD properly while smiling (she had her back towards him ) are small clues to prove it. knowing the spoilers ahead kinda allows a different perspective when the scenes come up so i get how it appears for u. The flashback of him refining the antidote is in tmr's ep

Also, why is it that the villains are always the ones to know info ahead of time. Sure he's not a villain yet but in the makings. People don't get that what makes him creepy is not how far he's going to save her but the intent he has in those actions are not pure. Even the FL noticed and tried to gently let him down but the guy is obsessed to save her that he deludes himself that he DID when she's healed. Let's run down the creepy moments: when he found out who she was and she kept telling him no then saw her running to the ML but pulled her to him (who are u to touch her?) and kept saying u have no right to take her home when it's none of his business.Another point when he kept deluding himself that she PASSED THE BRIDGE OF LOVERS, married the guy, saved him a million times, protected his dragon while she was dying , did the heart array that can't be faked as all an act to get the GMD. Thought he was cool when he STOLE her hairpin like it's a token of their childhood love (how high was he?) (loved his look of regret when he realised he took the thing protecting her) CONTINUED to delude himself when he told JBZ that he knew of their act so she can take GMD after she literally just flinged herself in front of JBZ to protect him from an attack (no excuse of GMD anymore so is he BLIND?) At this point, must the rest be told? if ppl can't see the red flags then either they're colorblind or watched too many dark romance not to see his toxic future

I get why ML hid that he saved her cz by the time she finds the tree, he'll be dead from the poison so he's doing the same thing she did. They're cut from the same cloth i swear. I was hoping for the identity reveal to happen now cz who else will tell her? Her father is adamant to shut his mouth and the future villain ofc is one step ahead with knowledge needed for the leads. If he's the one to tell her then unoriginal is not the only term used here. Also the FL's aunt is right, the moment JBZ realizes his master aided in his abandonment out of revenge and then shaped him as a weapon against his family, his whole world will fall apart BUT i have faith our boy will have enough wit to realize her revenge is his as well cz of what that hateful mother has done to FL in the guise of love and done to him.
