Infant is the wrong term here. Regardless of your moral views of abortion, an infant is a living person, already born. An embryo or even a foetus are very different things, and legally have very different rights in many regions - especially in regard to the mother of said embryo/foetus and her health! Yes, someone who IS already born has legal rights. Using the wrong terms just undermines your arguments.

It is disturbing that there is an expectation and actors are cheered on, for being more realistic and showing "committment to the role" and loving their job, etc., for situations where it regards body weight. This is seriously dangerous, life threatening weigh-loss. The last one I remember reading about was Ahn Bo Hyun in his prep for "See you In My 19th Life." And there was backlash because he didn't resemble the webtoon character closely enough. Weight loss for roles (and often weight gain - It just won someone an Oscar) is IMO meaningless and overblown.
Imagine if all roles required such committment?! Park Min Young could've just undergone chemo and radiation! That would've helped her lose weight. Should Choi Hyun Wook have been hit over the head until it induced hearing loss, for his role in Twinkling Watermelon? And would Park Eun Bin be so much a star now? She definitely is not autistic but we accepted her portrayal of an autist in Extraordinary Attorney Woo!
Dramas are fictional. Audiences have brains. We don't need to have these dangerous body standards to understand the character and engage with an actor's portrayal. And we need to STOP lauding actors for engaging in this kind of 'preparation'.

I can generally switch off to dramaland tricks like the phone interruptions. I like the slowly building tension and yearning. But weirdly, I just hit my limit in ep 20, when she was saved from explaining to her workmate, why she's wearing make-up. NOPE!

Zheng Shu Yi, still thinks her ex-boyfriend's girlfriend, is Shi Yan's niece. Quin Shi Yue, knows that Shu Yi is dating the uncle of her ex-boyfriend's niece...I.e. Shi Yue knows it's AN uncle, not HER OWN uncle. They are both still, stupidly oblivious.
This is the one bit of the plot I've just had to make myself accept despite how stupid it seems...the only way I can accept it is by thinking, "They're all too self-absorbed to put it together". And now Shi Yue doesn't even ask, before they get to the blind date... "Your blind date wouldn't be with Yu You, the young, handsome finance professor that I know, would it?!"...It is ridiculous to me. Wouldn't you check, just in case? Especially if he is on your mind all the time as the plot suggests! But. Well. Dramaland.
