They asked a question. What would you do? Ignore it? Then she would be dragged for that.
She could have spoken of her sister the doctor, and left it at that. But she answered one question, and then completely unprompted, talked. At length. About her 'impressive' family tree of doctors. She made that choice. It's unfortunate, but she did it.
Iβm not blaming her for something her ancestors did, but she kinda dug her own grave by bragging about being…
Agree. I watched that particular interview only yesterday and she definitely brought him up herself, as a brag (albeit gentle) about her ancestry. Whywhywhy Ha Young!? Why would you brag about your ancestor, when he is a known "Traitor to the Korean people"?!? And she fumbled it when later asked to clarify, by trying to downplay the seriousness. What a mess π People need to remember the Japanese Colonial era, is still in living memory for many Koreans.
It seems to me that you can trust this actor to always choose roles in progressive stories. Dramas that challenge issues of SK society in some way. It's impressive!
Rewatching for the eleventieth time, and confronted with the fact that THIS - a thriller drama, about injustice, classism, false accusations, misattributions, and even false and implanted memories (though I had forgotten that) - is my comfort watch π
I think IQiYi allows a degree of free access (if the app is available in your region...) New eps will be behind a paywall but some of it might be accessible.
It doesn't seem similar in the synopsis. Is it really a Japanese remake of Samdalri?
So sorry to upset you. No shade. It was a legitimate and genuine question, since remakes are a pretty common practice.. I know you're a real person, it's some other comments here on this page, that are bots.
Divorce Insurance was pretty bad - hard to watch until the end. What's this about strawberry farming? Strawberry…
Chocolate infused Strawberries are a viral-hit/luxury item in Japan. Like 'Dubai Chocolate' in South Korea. And the 'Perfect' strawberry costs a bomb - giant, ruby red strawberries, individually packaged, looking like perfect love hearts. Maybe it's something to do with that.
Hey MDL-ers! Have you noticed how every article and NEW drama page, now has a rage-bait, or at the very least, a seriously negative comment? Especially so, for pages of less than 6 months!
If you want MDL to be an experience of positivity and community, even when you have a different opionion, DO NOT RESPOND to these comments! They're troll accounts! Likely genrated by a social media PR firm using WFH workers, paid cents per comment. The data shows that responding to -ve comments will increase their incidence, because they generate clicks and engagement, REGARDLESS of whether it's +ve or -ve. Just BLOCK them and don't engage. Then we are showing that we don't want this kind of engagement here on MDL With all respect, please continue to disagree and express your opinion, just make sure it's to a REAL MDL-er
I really like the female lead, but once I realized the two fucking cheaters were there to stay, I could not watch…
Fact of the drama...they didn't actually cheat, just let him believe they did, for other complex resons. If you enjoyed the start, it's worth finishing - everyone gets their just desserts.
Can somebody tell did ML girlfriend chested on him with his bestfriend, I have watched it from shorts, and why…
Cheating is a major theme amongst the relationships in this, so if it's a big trigger for you, you probably should avoid. In saying that, we do eventually find out his girlfriend and best friend did NOT cheat, but rather, let him believe they did, for other complex reasons
What a mess π

Happy to watch him in anything tbh.
Please π anyone with MDL skills, please update the image.
