when did you realize the two male leads are alcoholics who are constantly drowning their pain and sorrow they have experienced before meeting each other?
so a lot of come back lines ZZS says are ad-libbed by ZZH because WKX is talking so much ZZH couldn't stand it anymore and had to ad-lib come backs. This is so funny to me.
Wow, seriously? I mean, did they start crowd-sourcing for new story or just searching for existing story to select…
it's very rare to see original stories being produced into tv/film in china right now. So they are probably looking at existing IPs. Crowd sourcing in terms of getting suggestions from fans.
The producer has said on Weibo for the two MLs to reunite again, they would need a good script. So they are crowd-sourcing good scripts/or IPs right now. Doesn't necessarily have to be BL, just two male leads.
Ok guys so there is conversation under a YouTube page that this drama cannot be aired in summer because China…
this is true, it it doesnt air in April and end before August, then it's probably not airing until end of this year. Not due to founding of China but the it's the Centennial of the founding of the Chinese Communist Party.
I think I was still asleep writing this;) Even I can't understand what I meant...
it is my belief and I know this to be true for myself that ZZS is a more advance flirt than WKX. ZZS has experienced court bureaucracy and the dealing of socializing with the upper class, and he is so much better at everything than WKX, who pretty grew up in a "Valley". I truly believe ZZS has all the skill to evade WKX's trace and advances if he really wanted to. Deep down, I believe ZZS was entranced by WKX just as much as WKX was entranced by ZZS, from their first encounter. It might not be romantic at first, but ZZS was definitely the Cat in the game of Cat and Mouse, but he is so good that he makes WKX thinks himself as the cat.
PSA: sign your current kids, and future kids up for Chinese classes, so they don't have to suffer like you are doing right now, i.e. trying to figure out Youku, and waiting for subtitle releases. LOL
Please, Can someone who understands censorship explain this to me....since youtube is banned in china why do they…
for a period drama, it's almost fitting that the relationship they have is always subtle because that is just how Chinese culture has been. It's never overt, and what's intimate is never meant to be seen. that's why all the poems in the drama is so fitting, because they were all love poems written hundreds or thousands years ago to express love, and has never used the words "i love you". Chinese people deal with interpersonal relationship very differently from Western culture. It might just be my preference, but when I see overt skinship or expression of love in period drama, it always feels out of place.
I was worried too since I am not familiar with CFY but since the early reviews came in, I am more confident. One…
im not so confident as "early reviewers", who are often hired reviewers. if you look at the director's past works. oooh, tough. nevertheless, there will be.a lot fans and viewers, that's what tencent/wetv does anyways, overinflate views.
They got angry because there was a similar incident between China and Korea, like with Japan and Korea... Chinese…
they were never claims about kimchi and hanbok being chinese, but koreans claimed hanfu and sichuan pickles are koreans in origin. still, what does this have anything to do with china like the comments are saying? why bring up china all, it's not china's fault the producers decided to use props that look chinese.
what does this thing have anything to do with china? or cdrama? i see people in the comments, "IF THIS IS CDRAMA" well, cdrama writers would never claim something that is not their own, because cdrama writers know their own history. This is about korean netizens bulllied a whole production being pulled because of something they don't like.
