in a way wkx and zzs is. very similar in the book, but to put both characters on a screen, i think there needs to have some dichotomous comparison between the two characters. this is Priest really early works, and I don't think it's one of her better works. For dramatic comparison and character differentiation, i think the script writer did a good job. i think people always forget and misunderstand adapting literary works for the screen needs some changes. if you just put the story as is on screen might not work, because one is visual medium and one is not.
