I knew she'd love this drama. Need to go watch her review now 😄

This series is hard Sci-fi, maybe that's why some say they're difficult to read. But I don't find the first book hard to read at all. I really enjoy the second book as well. The third book I have tried to read 3 times, I always stop midway. The science language goes way above my head. I'm more in to soft scifi. But I hear that most sci fi fans like the last installment the best. So I'd say give the first book a shot, and see for yourself. The English translation has the chapters in a different order than the Chinese one as well, so I think you'll get a bit of a different experience reading it in translation. The translator has also put in a lot of footnotes that explain certain things tied to the Chinese language, culture and history, which is really helpful if you don't know all this beforehand.

Altough GGS isn't one of my favorites, but it's definitely worth a watch. It's quite funny, a lot of likeable characters and a sweet romance.

I have no idea. It's not following the schedule Huace has posted in the playlist for members on their YouTube channel. 🤷🏼‍♀️ Maybe because only one episode was released today in China, and only one tomorrow, so we'll get 2 episodes tomorrow instead. And then none on Sunday, same as in China.

There are 12 episodes in Chinese, so they're a couple of episodes behind.

Considering that it's from MangoTV I'd say we're lucky to be getting subtitles at all 😂 they aren't that many episodes behind, I feel it's okay. I can watch without the subtitles first and then re-watch it with 😏

Viki shouldn't be responsible for the subs on Huace though? And it also seems as if there is no episode on Sunday's in China, so maybe they decided on a break for the subtitled episodes today as well.

The release schedule is a bit confusing to say the least. I'm following it on Huace's YouTube channel, and there are two playlists for the series, one for members and one for non-members. One says that there should be one new episode per day, members get them in advance. The other one, ironically the one for members, says they update every Tuesday to Saturday. I'm not even gonna start describing what the schedule looks like for the Chinese release (there's a schedule in the picture section). In conclusion, we'll just have to wait and see 🤷🏼‍♀️

Keep on wondering, the English title makes absolutely no sense. 🤦🏼‍♀️ The Chinese title is 我可能遇到了救星, meaning something like "I may have met a knight in shining armor/savior/saving star". I have no idea where Venus fits in 😂

You know, this kind of struck me the other day as well. Beyond them getting together I have absolutely no idea what the plot is. And yet, it is so good! Goes to show that drama for the sake of drama isn't necessary. I hope they don't ruin it with some silly plotline the last few episodes.

I just hope it's better than Heroes....

With such a stellar cast this is hardly a "filler" 😆 this production looks really good on top of that. I was sort of wondering what I was gonna watch after LLTG. Now I know. 😁
