Lol why should I answer the question of a person that acts like a dictator ? 🤷♂️ I said why I think this movie is also part of p*rn culture. What ? You wanna force me to think like you ? 🤣🤣🤣 are you a liberal dictator ? Plus where did I write I find this necessarly offensive or what not. Hollywood and loads of developped countries' entertainment industries done showing us crude s*x scenes in our faces for decades now and p*rn culture has been very present everywhere in our societies. Sure I used the word "Denounced" in my previous comment up here but I should have used a better word like "Highlighted" or "mentioned" (English is not my first language and I have a poor vocabulary). Therefore apart from that I don't think I have written anywhere in my comments on this thread that I necessarly find LC offensive (this is displayed everywhere). I just stated a fact about the movie also being part of that p*rn culture (can say the same about a Frozen flower or The handmaiden) through the use of graphic s*x sessions. Since I stated the truth, that did not please people like you.
I am a human being that can also think for myself and not to be led by any ccp nor any liberal manipulation. The s*x scenes were crude and utterly graphic aka part of p*rn culture.
I remember Rosa Garcia (later version was Marimar with Thalia Chantal) being that hit telenovela back in 95/96…
Awwh ! That is too bad you have to pay to watch them online now 😔. The last Brazilian telenovela I watched was Caminhos das India ages ago. I liked that drama a lot cause it had the mixture of two entertainment industries that influenced my childhood and that I liked a lot. Plus it had the brilliant Toni Ramos as the hysterical Pandité 😅 (This gentleman I tell you was born for acting). To be fair the Brazilian actors playing indian characters made me forget they were actually Brazilian. This is how good they were. I don't know too much about the new generation of hot popular Brazilian actors/actresses active today (you can tell me about them) but the Toni Ramos generation was no joke. There were some seriously good actors. Another thing I liked about Brazilian telenovelas is the longevity of the actors and actresses. For example Someone like Regina Duarte played Female lead love interest for the longest even in her 40's/50's and nobody bat an eyelid cause of how good people behind the scene wrote the characters. They had layers and a certain charm and the right experienced actors were picked for those roles (I saw a huge respect for the veterans here). Something I wish Cdrama PDs or Bollywood for example could learn from Brazilian novelas. Therefore even they were long they the quality was garantee and the suspens was grabing til the end. I don't remember feeling the need to drop Torre de Babel, Felicidade, Mulheres de Areia, Por Amor, Roda de Fogo, Dereito de Amar etc... cause I was bored. Not at all ! If anything the excitement kept on growing with each episode and revelation. Vale Tudo was particularly crazy. And I found Carolina Dieckmann, Tais Araujo (with that deep seductive husky voice), Camilla Pitanga, Gloria Alves, Gloria Paes and the main actresses of Terra Nostra and Roda de fogo (forgot her names) particularly gorgeous.

Unfortunately I feel she is pressured into fitting the beauty standard of the country. Anyway she still got that hourglass shape which is good.
Toni Ramos (he got insane talent), Regina Duarte, Gloria Pires, Vivianne Pasmenter (her iconic Laura role in Por Amor), Maite Proencia, late Tarcisio Meira (I always feel Li Jiu Lin appearance gives me young Chinese Tarcisio Meira vibe) ect... they are some of the legendary Brazilian actors/actresses

You are from Brazil ! Aiya I am a HUGE fan of Toni Ramos acting. That gentleman is a chamelon ! Productionwise I think Brazilian Telenovelas (80's/90's) with Roda de Fogo (with that dope unforgettable opening theme), Mulheres de Areia (1993), Por Amor, Torre de Babel etc... those dramas had great OSTs same about Vale Tudo opening theme. I am from France

Edit : instead of "denounced" I meant "mentioned"
