So many things to respectfully disagree about her reviews lol and the color grading is one of the things. Location…
8 episodes were used to make complete strangers in a foreign country warm up to each other so by episode 9 and 10 they become a couple and start on really supporting each other
Okay now I am gonna list the things that make me stick to the show and touch me on a personal level cause I went through the first love phase.
1) the awkwardness of the first period of time when my ex and I were getting to know each other. Like LYY with YG, he was the one hitting on me and I really didn't know what to do but at the same time I was excited because it was a novelty for me and I could feel the adrenaline.
2) the feeding stuff. During the time he was wooing me and the whole time we were together he never missed an opportunity and feed me. Granted it was not expensive food like in the drama but guy was really providing on that side
3) the insecurity at the begining of the relationship. I would sometimes ask him if he got a girlfriend or if he is not cheating behind my back. He reassured me he was serious lol. So I can relate to YG on that part as well.
4) the supportive friends. They were nice to me and I felt really welcomed. After we broke up for external reasons I kept in touch with one of them.
I experienced what the FL is experiencing in the show and I am nostalgic. Anyway can't wait for tomorrow episodes 🙂
She trashes most everything. The woman is a pill. Maybe her critique is useful for students studying cinematography,…
I see your point. Everyone got different opinions and she explained why she dropped it. Me personally I don't know if I would have stuck with it if I wasn't in the mood but at the same time I gotta give credit to AASOL for selling me the genuine love between two unproblematic and well educated young people and I am happy to see they got the support of people around them and even the "love rivals" seem to be decent individuals with principles.

WuLei got huge fandom though but not really Zhao Jin Mai. On public responses I can feel that people in China are warming up to it as well. I see more and more fan edits about the drama lately whenever I enter BiliBili app and get on the front page (something I did not see for any of the dramas that aired in January and we all know how they fared). Now are those fan edits praising the show or ranting about it ? I am not to sure but I feel so far there is a mixture of good and bad reactions.
I’m a fan of Avenue X but sometimes her review can be quite sharp…and less pleasant to drama/ movie/ production…
I get your point reason why I think her critic of the colour grading was kinda wrong since it fits the wheather and atmosphere of winter in a nordic country. Therefore as I said before, nordic movies shot during wijter got the same colour grading as AASOL's. I think the director used the "normal" approach when he was shooting the drama. Indeed as you mentioned before the way the environment look in the show is very close to the reality of Europe during winter especially when travelling on public transports. Plus another thing where she was wrong is when she said there hasn't been much talk about the show on the internet which is untrue. What is true is indeed show has been getting a lot of mixed reviews but if anything there has been some buzz surrounding it and it has been doing numbers.
Her level of criticism is designed for evaluating a drama based on technology and effects. Average viewer wouldn't…
Yeah ! Also one can notice a lot of nordic movies shot during winter in Northern Europ got that type of colour grading. Therefore I am not surprised by the look of AASOL. Dark wintery vibe. Also I bet during their time in the Alpes the drama will look brighter cause the area is different from Finland.
Me likey how there are more and more fanvids on our main leads on BiliBili with more comments in the comments sections😁👍 (see link below). It seems viewers are warming up to the lead couple since they got together in ep 9/10
