Among the popular and hyped female liulangs today she is the most solid one. Some lack in the look department for me. Others lack in the acting department. Another chunk lack both (some big names I won't mention). But Zhao Jin Mai lacks nothing so far. Even in her unappealing dramas she always manage to connect.

Lmao she acts like any inexperienced and shy innocent 20 year old girl. A lot of emotions kicking plus the shyness and the excitement of mutual feelings. By episode 10 onwards she will be the more active one trust me 😁

Cause ML character proved them the type of quality person he is through his actions. Being too reserved and awkward bordeline "rude" in words can be his flaws but he compensates it through his actions : he is helpful, responsible and a mature young man. I feel in his environment people around him got a lot of respect for him therefore the men must be like "I wished he would marry my sister". MXD who appears to be a very strict and conservative person (look at the way he dresses guy hates sloppiness) must be in heaven knowing that his sport rival but uptight man loves his sister. Not only is he a good person but in the nine balls game field he is a monster. A good catch !

Last but not least nowadays it is rarer to find a marriageworthy person like LYY, especially when you met him in a foreign country and you are not sure you will manage and make him leave Finland to go back to China. So the reassurance of the brothers is also important in case they end up in a long distance relationship and female lead worries he might cheat.

Okay gonna look for them

Everyone got different tastes but here are the things that makes me buy into that love story and love at first sight. This is probably the second modern romance big project cdrama with a liulang/well popular cast members, where I buy the main leads attraction for each other especially from the ML side towards the FL. The first drama was "You Are My Glory" where I put myself in the shoes of the ML and was like I would definitly fall for her among all of the girls cause visually, nobody in town touches her.
Which brings me here. I personally believe, Zhao Jin Mai is the best luilang China got today and that country better treats her well. Not only have I yet and find a drama where she didn't act really good (all of her dramas so far she dubs herself) but this girl is a 9 in my book lookwise. She got the innocent girl-next-door type of beauty that is popular nowadays in cdramaland without looking generic nor plain bland but dreamy. Whenever I look at her face it evokes something to me and I wanna draw it. Her facial features easily catch the attention even with a bad hairstyle and there is something solid about her bone structure that just appeals to me whenever I lay my eyes on her. Therefore I never ask myself "what does he see in her ?" when ML falls for her. I can only relate to LYY.
Then on her figure, she is well proportionned. She must be very thin but got a nice hip to thigh ratio and thin and long legs. Seems she is built like a Liu Yi Fei or a beauty pageant. Therefore I am not surprised by any young man hormones kicking for her. Each time LYY looks at her his eyes look like he is undressing her. I see a lot of sensuality there. When I see all that I am like "I wanna see her in a lakorny cdrama with Chen Xing Xu". They would burn the screen. Chen Xing Xu and Zhao Jin Mai would be the perfect cast for a remake of "Kluen Cheewit" by cdrama standard.

Anyway to conclude I wanna send money to the person that did the casting. Thank you !

If MXD is paired with DaiSi character I would give 10/10 to the show for the director would have thought out of the box. But if it is lin lin I would have to skip MXD scenes involving her. I find the actress not alluring at all and too "been there done that".

Drama maybe is not to your taste

So far on BiliBili, the one that has been gaining a lot of traction since the drama aired is Chen Jing Ke. Then it is Wang Xing Yue. I see quite a few fan edits about JY and MXD whenever I enter BiliBili and look at the first page ! And they got a certain amount of comments. I even see some edits about JY and YG when there is hardly any interraction between them 🤔. On Youtube we get edits on the Main leads so hopefully on BiliBili there will be more about LYY and YG when their couple become stronger.

They had to know each other better. Plus he only visits her once per week. Plus he is a really introvert person that has difficulty communicating. I mean with all of that gotta give LYY credit for reaching that goal with YG 🙂. From then on they will keep on growing together

Jealousy. They wished their favs had a naturally sounding and progressing drama like this one here where the leads do have a strong chemistry with a well balanced acting. Plus from what I am seeing drama is on its way to become a solid hit. Now I bet a lot must probably be wishing later parts of the show will suffer the cdrama-regression-curse.

Drama maybe is not to your taste

It will be like in the novel (championship, characters growth through challenges and rivalry and friendship)
