In the drama the SML role was butchered by the PD. From what I was told some of the lines given to XW in the drama were actually ZZ's in the novel such as the "Find yourself someone fitting" line after FL acted as a b.tch and senselessly broke SML heart just when he was mourning.

No because in AALS this is ML that time travel and the FL is aware at some point that he comes from the future and just their timelines move in opposed direction. while in Kunning Palace drama only the FL got reborn. I still rate AALS cause there is more twist in the basic storyline which makes it fresh. Still I appreciate the effort of Kunning Palace

This is his voice. I think he worked on it a lil bit to make it sound deeper and fit the character aura. Now about the diction only Chinese viewers can tell us if he is doing good or bad. So far I haven't heard nor read any critic about it (they only say he overacts). So I am assuming he is doing a good enough job.
While ZZ was left alone crying his heart out for losing two people he loved at the same time. That was so bad and I saw some XN and XW shippers applauding this I was like ??? Had ZZ or anyone done like that to XN would they have cheered for it as well ? ZZ did not deserve that at all ! Wang Xing Yue has been done dirty twice this year 😢
