Yes the very first scene when he appears during the rebellion I thought he was struggling a bit playing the blood thirsty psycopath rebel. But I understood it as it was his 1st time acting that type of villainy ruthless character. It is not easy to pull off
Because je is a 02'er it is difficult to find a younger actress for him now. Maybe Aimie in a few years (she is 15 now) ? Zhao Jin Mai and other 02'er to 05'er actresses now would be perfect for him.
Talking about WXY I like that video (see link below) where he tries and break open an apple with his bare arm but he fails after several painful attempts but when he asks the other man to do it, the latter manages to break it in 1 second without sweating. One of the strongest characters in the show and nobody mention him is that ennuch that is working for JXN. I mean guy faced bloody armed rebels that just decapitated a man, with his balls (pun intended) while everyone else were shitting their pants and he remained level-headed loyal til the end. He deserves his flowers. Whenever JXN converses with him and that Zhou guy her empress demeanors show up instantly. I wonder how many years she was an empress.
