I feel like if she was the main lead the plot would be different. I don’t think the switch would have happened.…
Honestly if I was the PD of this show to make my drama even more stand out, I would have written YeTan as a grey/baddie type character (cause of her upbringing and coping psyche) with a lot of wits (then again cause of her harsh have-to-survival childhood) that only knows how to use tricks and sensuality (when I say sensuality you get what I mean but she never crosses the line) to get what she wants. Due to going to some shaddy places such as the one we saw in episode 1, she picked some bad habits there which shaped her way of getting her way. Hardships made her mature very quickly but in the opposed direction of her sister's. If the latter acts like a princess or a queen, Yetan acts like a shameless seductress to reach her goals which can sometimes concerns her beast prince friend and Man Man still they got her back. In her behaviour no time to act like an abbrasive child that jumps everywhere, she finds it cringy unless it serves her agenda even she would rather have to not act like that. Her sneaky, touchy, shameless "villainess" bordeline scandalous character had friction with the ML since their 1st meeting. Our girl tried and proposed him to kidnap the Heavenly prince in exchange of money and "some other things". In the process girl acted flirty and was not scared to put distance btw her a woman and a stranger she doesn't know. That behaviour of course put him off he the uptight, clean and low EQ-ed prince. From then on the encounters between the ML and the FL will be filled with a lot of funny banters and growing tension with a YeTan bringing that spice into YouQin boring life and YouQin, his nice relatives and his mortal versions teaching YeTan how to grow and become a loving woman that does not rely of dirty cheap tricks to get through to people, without her losing what makes her charming and her core flavour (spicy and witty).
What do you think ? I think this type of idea would be fresh in today's cdramaland.
Heheh phew - I was afraid you would react badly to the girl. She doesn’t get a lot of screen time anyway.
At 1st I had issue with the age as well and thought he fitted more characters like Xiao Se. Then he won me over with his acting and I liked Wuxin overall. This drama was a really nice surprise and it looked gorgeous to me the colours grading, the landscape, the effect during the fighting scenes it gave LBFAD a run for its money. I just wish FLs writing will shift soon to the likes of Ruo Yi or Qing Kui (TSL) = appealing ladies and drop the different variations of the childish, plain, abbrasive to the point of being unappealing ones. That would elevate the quality of cdrama greatly.
Chinese dramas should seriously start promoting characters like Qing Kui to main lead roles : Elegant, innocent, ladylike, appealing, warm, etc... and not the variations of the same type of female characters we have been served lately.
I guess the same goes for Actor Kwon Sang Woo who was as well fined 1 billion Won ($756,985.50 USD) by the National…
Kwon Sang Woo is not the subject here but yes since rich people with loads of money try different tactics to avoid paying tax while us on low incomes never skip that ? 🤷♂️
But what if it's one of the young actors in their 20s? It would be "Oh the South Korean government is so harsh…
What ? "Who are cute and bla bla bla are forgiven" you are really writting essays for nothing ! Using that shitty "what aboutism" to defend that shady man

Oh there is a season 2 ? I didn't know that ! Honestly I don't know if I want romance in the next season though. I am not to fond of cdramas FLs and feel some SFLs are better written and more elegant

I don't give a sh.t about your whole essay. I said what I said and I find him shady and weird. I said what I said and I believe none of the gossips that got exposed about him were proven wrong by his side especially the part that involved the girl of the group glam. I repeat I am not a fan of this guy he is weird and shady
