I finished the drama and I agree with you here. The female lead ended up lowkeye being the typical annoying cdrama FL. Granted she was helpful at time but they could have done it without making her the annoying fangirl pursuing ML around. Actually Xiao Se had much more chemistry with the one that was paired with Lei Wu Jie. I liked the doctor girl as well. FL was fine at 1st then they decided and make her the ML fangirl forcing herself in his circle like the girl in strange tales of Tang Dynasty did

The actor playing Tang Liang has got such pretty soulful eyes ! He had the prettiest eyes in the drama
