I think they should have introduced him earlier as well and pitted him against FL to add more spice in the drama. But it feels they wanted to promote Vincent with an utter villain ML role (which is also rare in cdramaland where usually the ML is at worst grey).

Loool on this matter of "limited director" I mentioned earlier, I think the PD is stupid. They should have introduced the character of Tang Zi Feng by now (ep 10) since this is a 10-min-per-episode mini drama and we got only 20 episodes left. indeed it would have made this mini much more dynamic since from what I am seeing on those latest episodes the FL is in a revenge mode and is no more a goody-two-shoes. Imagine a lakorny Tang Zi Feng and a grey FL (sth rare in cdramaland) in the same scene. Plus let's be honest lakorny DaiDai is the main draw of the
show, not Vincent Wei acting a snake.
