I wished this drama aired on TVN and Netflix. The main leads here give me all of the warm well developed satisfying romance I wished Unchained Love's has not deprived me of.
The FL's too bubbly and spunky personality doesn't sit right with me especially towards the ML who is the King.…
Sorry but personally I though Lee Se Young was overacting the "young enthousiastic" part in The Red Sleeves. Someone like Kim Yoo Jung would have killed the happy go lucky young ingenue part better. And something about her line delivery during those parts just felt annoying in my ears. She reminds me of Li Qin. Both actresses are only good for serious parts. Park Ju Hyun is better that LSY at playing goofy, playful comic characters. Her character is like a clown in the beginning and PJH acting that had no fault.
Lee Heon and secretary made me laugh in episode 10🤣. Kim Young Dae is definitly made for comedy even in this drama here I can see he has been polishing his sad and sorrow acting skill. Playing an abused kid in Penthouse has helped him improve and in this drama here his crying scenes are more natural (tears flow more naturally). His forte are comedy. He seems like a fun guy. If I have to compare this drama with something it would be a refreshing fruit juice. There is nothing new about it but the elements are satisfying. I love the romance between the main leads

I think Kim Young Dae is made to play loaded (in money or power) type of characters. The Domyoji type (I can't picture him playing the poor guy of the neighbourhood). His aura, if I have to compare it with another actor's of his generation, it would be Dylan Wang. Funny how in his 1st drama the role he was playing was the typical Domyoji type and Dylan 1st role was in Meteor garden where he was playing the role of Domyoji Tsukasa. Both have been sometimes criticized for their limited acting still they are rising stars who keep on getting ML roles thanks to their looks and appeal first of foremost. Sure they are improving and in certain roles manage to shine.
