I can't watch dubbed versions of Asian movies. It always feel soulless for me and that lost of Asian philosophy that draws people towards their culture is just to jarring for me with that dubbing.

For me I was shocked ! This is when you know Dong Eun calculated that her "sunbaenim" was really desperated to make it after years and years of failure to reach his goal. She most probably told the boy what his dad had done thinking that lovely son would distance himself from his dad and stay away from him. But he did even more. He did the worst. That dad through his behaviour ended up bringing curse to his son.

About her daughter I feel her husband plays a role in teaching her daughter properly. He seems like an extremely rich but decent man. And because Yeon Jin does not want to lose her husband she is putting a mask at home and act like "a good wife and a good mother". By doing that her daughter is not contaminated by her bad influence.
