Maybe Liu Yi Fei but NiNi I can't explain it. I can see she is a good actress. I cannot dispute that but for some reason I cannot warm up to her. Dilreba is my pick cause I think the onscreen visual would be even more burning and her being pushed by the likes of SJK would be a treat to look at. Plus it would also be the 1st time a Uyghour actress would be working with a Korean superstar.

Drama actually was decent. Sure the basic story was kinda "dramalike" I would say but the execution was what saved it. The characters were talking and exchanging like real people and not like unrelatable dolls. Dilreba and YangYang had chemistry and their visual worked. The acting was not bad at all. I would like to see her and SJK in a collab project btw Korea and China. I am sure with his acting ability and aura he would push her to be better and break that glass ceiling.

I get you about Chinese dramaland producing shitty dramas. One of the biggest drawbacks in cdramaland for me remains how female leads are written and the type of female leads that have been promoted : the typical juvenile annoyingly happy-go-lucky with high pitched voice cinderella. But cdramaland got some good dramas imo like : Joy Of Life Reset Legend of Monks and Masters Tientsin Mystic You are my glory Nirvana in fire Minglan (even I will never be into Feng Xiao Feng) Longest day in Chang'an (made me get curious about Tang dynasty) Bad kids The long night Etc... I watch cdramas cause I am fascinated by China history and civilisation.

I get you. We had a drama with a similar setup earlier this year with Lee Joon Gi. Plus this is the same big-corrupted-corporate-family-with-an-unscrupulous-Adjussi-at-the-head type of storyline. Been there done that. I am watching for SJK visual
