Her nephew didn't want her to become Wu Zetian 2.0 but the one I feel bas the most is Xan Guan'er. Her grand dad got executed by WZT then her mother and her became slaves. Then cause she was good at writting she had no other choice but to work for the killer of her grand dad. Then after Wu death she got entangled in the battle btw princess Tai Ping and her nephew who wanted to eliminate anything Wu-related. At the end of the day she was also a powerless victim of powerful people fighting for power.
I watched Avenue X streaming about it and it seems she was really happy about the drama especially Yang Zhi Gang role here. At the end of the streaming she trashed "Thank you doctor" so hard I felt bad for the fans of the dramas' actors.
