This is what makes the romantic dynamism fresh here. Indeed this is not the typical cdrama where FL is happy go lucky in-your-face abbrasive cinderella that ends up break cold rich ML's barriers. Here this is the ML that has to work hard to overcome the odds with a cold and extremelly numb and introvert and totally detached woman. I want to see how he will succeed and make her smile.
Why ML made the annoying abbrasive cousin-in-law think that FL was having an affair with him ? Why create more problems for me and manipulate situations like that ? Is he here for revenge as well ? Peng Guan Ying is sure good at playing shady characters

Those the dramas I expected nothing from and had no really traffic actors but they worked for me : cdramaland - Reset -> best cdrama of the year with unexpected pairing of Zhao Jin Mai and Bai Jing Ting (they need another project) - A dream of Splendor -> best female lead in a costume cdram - love between Fairy and Devil -> Best xianxia of the year. Gorgeous to look at - Mini dramas such as "Eldest princess on top", "A familiar stranger", "Night of love with you", "Maid's revenge" that maybe short, cheap not necessarly well acted or whatever but managed to sell through main leads chemistry and sensuality that have been very lacking in a lot of their bigger counterparts. Some of them even became unexpected hits and put their main leads' name on the map (Dai Gao Zheng) - Strange tales of Tang dynasty -> another unexpected hit this year that just aired like that with no publicity but became a dormant hit to the point of having a season 2 soon thanks to some nice visual, good fighting scenes, interesting mysterious cases and the acting/chemistry of the Male leads (the female leads were just nope for me what a shame) - the latest I just checked on it accidentally and so far keep me interested is "Unexpected falling" --> mature ML and FL with chemistry (please drama don't F.up)
And for Kdrama : Of course Gaus Electronic -> I don't even know what made discover this drama existence. How I got to know this existed. Molla yô. But man I so do not regret it ! It is not easy to make people laugh...
