When I heard the title I thought heroine would be delightfully badass and lovable but Ewww ! And the ML was just not forgivable and absolutely unlikable at all but girl fell for him. Double Ewww !

I tried it and I am not into the FL at all and I think Mr Dai shines more in more tense dramas than Rom-Coms (I think I have grown an allergy to Rom-Com)

I am not attacking just debating on the acting technics of the FL especially during the drama climax. Sorry if you fell attacked. Here I changed the words that may have given the feel I was attacking you.

Same ! One thing I liked with Maids Revenge, No accidental kissing scene. If both Main Leads kissed it was because both of them wanted it. No slow-mo-staring-at-each-other scene nor slip-and-trip-kissing scene. Things were charged btw both leads

Okay seeing how 2022 is coming to an end, here is my awards concerning Chinese dramas :
Best drama : Reset
1st Runner up = Can Lang Jue
2nd Runner up = Night of Love with You

Best costume drama : Can Lang Jue
1st Runner up = Side Story of Fox Volant
2nd Runner up = A dream of Splendor

Dark Horse of the year = Maids Revenge (for what it was its achievement is insane)
1st Runner up = Can Lang Jue
2nd Runner up = Night of Love with you

Those are my opinion on how satisfied I was with the drama. But I can give more details on why I picked those.

PS : special mentions to mini dramas "A Familiar Stranger" whose gorgeousness is giving Can Lang Jue a run for its money and that got fascinating villains and "Eldest princess on top" which managed to tell a coherent story even whithin such a short time and limited budget and got an appealing and powerful heroine (normal cdramas can't relate).
