I feel the last 4 episodes with goddess XiYun were the weakest part of the drama somehow. Dylan acting was the highlight of those episodes. And am I the only one that found him at his hottest when playing Ta Tsui ?

Another thing I found similar is the rooftop scene, when the OTP kinda officialise they are a couple and what else. And at a moment the SML appears and FL tells the ML if she can go and talk to him and ML gives her the permission to so etc... that scene reminded me of the one btw Orchide, DFQC and CH after their mortal episode when Orchide kinda asked jealous DFQC permission to go and talk to CH and clarify things. It was another lil similar detail for me.

Check on it. This is a lil mini drama with limited budget so limited time to make something perfectly perfect but don't take it seriously since it is also a mini drama that kinda is a parody of cdramas cliche. As I explained earlier I spotted some similarities with LBFaD even both dramas genres are totally different and far apart. ML in Night of love with you is not the Dylan Wang handsome type that strikes you on 1st sight but he is a grower and at some point one find him charming. Plus I like his kissing scene with FL. Talking about FL she is gorgeous imo. She was an idol in kpop group Gugudan. Her type of beauty is more the mature one than the cute baby type.

She does nothing to me. Placide? is the way I would describe her. Plus she has been in a string of shitty dramas since she has been promoted to FL statut. Anyway maybe she will make a Dylan Wang and have, at last, her shining moment and shut my mouth the way Dylan did in LBFaD ? Who knows ?

You watched it !!! You should have promoted it more ! Lol kidding. About the drama quality it is forgiveable cause it is a mini one with not so much budget (a huge chunck must have gone to 2nd FL wardrobes lol). And yeah in essence it is different from LBFaD since mainly the FL is basically a villain in novel world and it is not a xianxia. Still I had good time when our professional Villain FL was transposed into her "new comic world" as a FL. And during that time she took jab at the cliche things that have been defining cdramas/cnovels FLs in general. For example how FLs are always poor working 10 jobs but their houses sometimes look nice and how they dress bad. Here FL is into money and fancy life. I loved the chemistry between ML and FL. This mini is the type of drama that is missing in cdramaland. It was not perfect but it's fresh. We definitly need a proper drama with this type of storyline. With that said I see a lot of similarities Btw Can Lang Jue and Nigt of love with you especially with how in both works the considered-villain MLs are not designed to be lovers nor have any romantic feelings. Things happen per accident and come and shake the whole fate/destiny stuff that was established for the characters. Also in both dramas MLs tried and kill FLs in the beginning by chocking her.
The critics Dylan received helped him improve. Now I can't wait for his next drama where he plays an ennuch. I am a lil scared cause Yukee Chen has yet to mean good news for me and the people behind the drama have yet to be trusted. Anyway I am sure by listening to those critics and with what he showed us in LBFaD he will serve us again a good powerful but dramatic ennuch performance in "Forbidden Love".
About the mini imperfect crack drama "Night of love with you" I spotted some similiraties with LBFaD :
- Storyline happening in a novel (NOLWY)/immortal world (LBFaD) - The idea of fate/destiny in both shows - Male leads considered the villain and always wearing black - FL kissing ML on 1st meeting - FL and ML living in the same house at the beginning. - kissings at first had a purpose in both shows and then they became romantic. - MLs in both dramas not designed to feel any romantic feelings at first and then end up falling in love - ML and SML cooperating several times even there are rivals - ML trying and push away FL for her own good but FLs aint giving up and is also willing to sacrifice to save her love. - and both shows had actress Pu Yu Tong (she has a very small role in LBFaD) in it - in both shows the OTP got some supporters as well. Is that fate ?
Guys please check on mini "Night of love with you". It ain't perfect but the OTP's chemistry works and not only FL is gorgeous but her character is not the typical child stuff.
