The issue with Esther for me is the character is too standard xianxia heroine. This is nothing new while DanYin is not your typical mean/envious supporting female character one see in every costume show. She was a bully but cause she got principles and layers she has grown.

She had the quickest and most coherent growth in the show. She stopped bullying cutie-powerless xianxia heroine after seeing how the latter helped them and became friendly with her. And with her uptight pretty fairy personality I already see some interesting interactions with XinFeng and even DFQC.

I hope not but if ending is sad I won't be surprised

Yes DanYin. I keep saying one of the bad ideas of the PD was making her role minor and JieLi more important. I even think she is written in a more interesting way than the typical 5-year-old-ingenue-fairy-with-greater-background xianxia heroine. And I can assure you DanYin and FL in the moon realm together trying to adapt to the new environment would have made the storyline even more
dynamic

I feel DFQC ain't as powerful as before cause of love... Moon Power is gonna be powerless. I hate it when they go this road

I also heard nobody believed it would be a hit and the PD said advertisers refused to support the peoject. So I guess Dylan and Esther (who were relatively popular before the show) didn't ask for too much money and focused on enjoying the experience. What is the name of that newbie that is putting his sexy voice on Dylan face ?

Dylan angular facial structure and dark appeal fit black/dark colors the most

Isn't it funny how all the dramas she expected to like such as Sword Snow Stride, LuoYang, the one with Chen Kun and BaiYu, all of the dramas with Steven Zhang, Checkmate ect... ended up disappointing while drama like a Dream of Splendor and this one here were a nice surprise. And isn't it nice how mini dramas tend to have spicier and more mature FLs and less boring goody-two-shoes ?
So far this year
the dramas that
managed to
satisfy me (or partly at least) were :
- Reset
- City of Streamer (I loved Jing Tian as the smart and seductive FL and the main couple chemistry)
- mini dramas like "Night of love with you"
- and so far Love between Fairy and Devil

Red and light colors fit ZLH better than Dylan
