One thing I like also is how DFQC casual outfit is brown. I have been watching costume cdramas for decades now. And I don't remember seeing a character dressed in a brown outfit like that. Plus Dylan looks gorgeous in it.

I am talking about ShangQue pairing with annoying JieLi.

I like his scenes with DFQC and how he transforms into dragon. Wished he wasn't pair with that girl tho...

Dylan Wang character is at his coolest surrounded by that beautiful blue fire and with his blue eyes. He puts everyone to respect even annoying heaven king almost shat his pants when hottie was about to crush him (and boy wasn't even trying too hard).
At last we got a very powerful ML that is genuinely the most powerful of the whole immortal world and who has no hole. Plus played by a young Dylan Wang whose look is a reminescence of prime Sharla Cheung. I am glued to this show cause of DFQC. And you wanna tell me at some point we might see that gone cause of some whinny fairy ? Bleh...

Hopefully it will be the case and she will protect otherwise, we are in for episodes of bad news and frustration.
I really hate it when a main character loses the weapon of his/her dominance cause of love and that leads to chaos and people deing left right and center. In this case here I would hate it the most cause FL did it in a very invasive way and that reminded me (even her character is genuinely innocent and good) of the way western powers have been pushing their way of life and narratives onto other cultures around the world in the name of "we have the best civilisation in this world" and it has created the world we are seeing now...

Ouch the normal angst-road-to-happy-ending Xianxia. I think I will stop watching for a while and just read the comments. I hate the "losing power cause of love" part.

DBQC losing his power = DBQC AND Moon people getting bullied by arch enemies especially the annoying Heaven realm king and millennials of unrest for them... not good, not good at all

I believe he definitely will. Since the 1st time I saw him I've never sensed good news coming out of him. Well if what you said is true it will the price of her naivety. DBQC wanted to execute him for a reason since his brother has always been the cause of unrest even when DBQC was out of the picture. While even when he has no emotions DBQC is a good dutiful ruler. Paired that with his power and we have a really good monarch that keep peace for his folks (external enemies think twice before bullying Moon people). One reason I wish FL's invasive way of "healing" him will not make him lose his power nor create any mess with his magic. I will be really really mad.

I am in the minority not fond of the OST. I only like the rock bgm and maybe the ending theme. I have been spoiled by dramas like JOL, Longest day in Chang'an, Goodby My Princess, Ancient Detective... so this drama music score pales compared to them for me.

I wish I was. If he loses it because of some dumb cdrama grating-voiced FL , in the name of "lurveèee"... aigooo

Even ML can see how unnecessary she is. She is lucky dumbo XLH 's grating voice is here to scream at ML not to finish her.

And if golden age HK cinema actress Sharla Cheung was a male she would be Dylan Wang. Both beauties give me the same effect : nicely but firmly carved facial bone structure

I am not his fan but Wang He Di is stealing the show for me through and through lookwise ( he looks and appears majestic, strong, spicy) even actingwise. Felt nothing for his acting in his previous dramas. But in this one here one can see he worked his ass off

The best thing about her character

DFQC better not loose that cool fire and power cause of an annoying and invasive childish FL. I would so hate that like... at last we got a genuinely undefeated ML with no hole.
