A shameless plagiat of Kaiji through and through sprinkled with elements of As Gods Will. Its director is a glorified liar. After seeing that fact I hope, that sh.tty drama's tards and other koreaboos that glorify that fraud will forever shut it about other countries' works' deemed plagiarisms.

I am neutral to Yang Yang and find Dilreba gorgeous. Still I found the drama interesting and liked how ML is not superior to FL on every point. I see a Man and a Woman and not a Man and a lil girl. Plus Male Lead has his insecurities

I feel the same about Wan'er but after watching a few eps of his latest drama airing now I feel Lin Wan'er was not so bad afterall. It seems to me Wang Juan has a problem with main leads pairing. Like Guo Shi Lin and Song Yi pairing in "My heroic husband" was weird to me especially just after seeing them as bro and sis in JOL it didn't work. In JOL the main pairing is better but Zhang Ruo Yun has more chemistry with Frida Li who plays SiLiLi and Wan'er character is overshadowed. It was bland. In his latest drama Li Gen Xi looks like ZRY niece and is just a wrong pick as FL for the type of classic costume drama SSS is. It's ruined. With the Wang Juan's dramas I have watched so far everything is good/great/decent but main pairing is always a case of "could do better".

Thank you. This drama is a masterpiece. It even made me care for Guo Bakun's minions he hired to kill FanXian. Even Wan'er's dad and Da Bao were not used as tool. Even the man that killed ZiJin was treated humanly and not your typical killing machine. From the biggest to the tiniest characters (the group hired by Wan'er's dad) everyone get the opportunity to shine. It convinced me to become to become a ZRY fan

Wow ! ANOTHER SILILI LOVER ! THANK YOU ! Surprisingly she became my fav female character. I am always in for a sensual female character with a deep background story about her but still one could see some innocence about her behind that sensual spy girl. I wish justice for her. Girl goes through physical and mental pain most of the time cause of FanXian. And what I liked is how with time FX was less and less indifferent towards her and warmed up to her character (I mean look at his eyes during the trip to Beiqi and tell me there is no attraction). If it was in another typical cdrama show he would have remained cold and rude while belittling her. Their chemistry and the evolution of their relationship kinda reminded me of Yaya and Mark in Kluen cheewit.
Sword Snow Stride could have been the Joy of life of 2021. It had all of the ingredients to become the highlight of the end of this year the way JOL was (Wang Juan, ZRY, JOL's team, costume, HuJun etc...). Somehow some of the PD's decisions made it less enticing. And if you see my comments over at SSS's page you will know where he mainly f.cked up in my opinion. Now I take back everything I said about Wan'er being a bland doormat FL overshadowed by everyone else. Girl you were not so bad afterall. Indeed now I think about it you did not make me stop watching the drama and at the end it was the star of december 2019. Now on SSS I get that sensation of a handsome young CEO the likes one see in those cheesy cdramas, well dressed and looking fly in the building but wearing slippers. Unfitting and that ruins the all view.
