From what I have read, some years ago he participated in a matchmaking reality show where he ended up with a girl he dated for some time. He said publicly she was the love of his life. Then guy cheated on her and they broke up (allegedly he cheated with a teen girl). Apparently boy got a Wang Feng-like reputation without the popularity. Anyway after that he got signed by YuZheng and became an actor. He then got together with miss Wu and they dated for 7 years before getting married. People who have known him for years and his previous scandals think that the announcement of their wedding right after her career revival with a still hot "The Double" and just after the teasers of her most anticipated drama with Liu Xue Yi got released and the exact same day Wang Xing Yue was having an event, was calculated. Indeed as we could see the announcement shifted the attention to him and people that did not know nor pay attention to him got a lil interested his works (his name trended). Had they announced their relationship last year or two years ago, when Wu Jin Yan career was stamped with a big question mark, people doubt anybody would have cared. At least it wouldn't have generated all of the noises we have heard so far and nobody would have checked on Hong Yao. My personal opinion I tend not to trust anyone with a bad veneer. My personal opinion. Still I wish WJY a happy family life.

I personally think Wu Jin Yan is pretty : nice body proportions even though she is slim and petite. She got a swanlike neckline and an unique face (she doesn't look boring). I found her particularly pretty in that rain scene without any makeup -she and Wang Xing Yue's visuals were visualing in that scene.

Well but I strongly believe Wang Xing Yue wasn't aware she somebody else's wife at the time and sure enough that somebody wasn't on the filming set playing SML
From what I have heard here and there, they wrote the FL like your typical pouty -and-childish-for-the-sake-of-purity-and-innocence lowkeye dumbo cdrama main female lead. If true I am not surprised
My fav one is in episode 8 when he was teasing her and said "Don't be angry Ah Li !". His intonation there made me weak. And when you watch his other dramas such as Scent Of Time or SOTKP his intonations are totally differents. He changes it according to the character he plays. And I strongly believe he is doing a good job and his lines delivery is clear because someone like Avenue X, who has expressed and stressed how voice acting represents 50% of an actor's performance, and has no qualms in praising nor panning any actor on that matter, keeps her mouth shut whenever it concerns Wang Xing Yue's voice acting, cricket sounds lol. And I strongly believe this is because she cannot trash him on that area 😃.
