Great !!! I love your writing a lot ! And you managed and explain why despite its faults the drama sucked people into its universe. The only symbolism you forgot was the obvious one in ep 18 when XFF is in the bathtub while thinking about Duke Su. I wanted to see your thoughts about it since you write very well and you got cultural knowledges. Anyway you did well girl 😊. Thank you
She's an example of resistance and perseverance. She used this time when she was unfairly overlooked to delve…
Kill me love me unfortunately is not doing so good from what I have heard. Only The Double managed and become her 2nd Yanxi. KMLM got ruined by the writer.
Two months until the end of the year and The Double remains the latest domestic and international superhit in heat, in reviews and in numbers of 2024. Everything else after that tanked in a way or another or at least did not reach The Double's statut in cdrama-watchers hearts. Drama has been living rent free in people minds since June. Technically the show was not perfect and was funny but it had something other productions lacked : a Xiao Heng with nice dressing sense portrayed by a 21-year-old Wang Xing Yue with sexy-mode-on on fire. Not to say other characters/actors/actresses did not contribute. They absolutely did. But a sexy Wang Xing Yue acting a confident and teasing Xiao Heng with a more than decent voice acting represents that ingredient in a receipe that makes the difference.
Lately I notice, on ML-FL relationship dynamism, more and more cdramas are following the mini-drama formula. This year dramas like "Love in the desert", "The Double", "Kill me Love me" have main characters whose relationships are mature, sensual, a little daring, teasing etc...

I like your pfp
Imagine you are Wang Xing Yue mom or dad now... the pride
