From what I am seeing so far, concerning the popularity NOPE.

I really started cheering for WXY after watching him in SOTKP. I think he killed as the pure, rigid modest but talented official Zhang Zhe. He was such a good but extremely conservative and taciturn boy that was challenged by a vixeny empress, I found him endearing in it no matter ! His character there is totally different from the bold, rich, powerful, flamboyant, ultra-confident, unproachable but teasing and sensual character Su Guogong !

I love Zhao Jin Mai as an actress but I can't help but think an actor like Wang Xing Yue would have brought that spark needed to make the main leads more addicting.
