I liked that movie "Monkey sth" with Donnie Yen playing Wong Fei Hung's dad. The fight scenes were insane ! Talking about fight scenes I think "The Double" were actually and surprisingly decent. The Double is a drama that works despite flaws. What were your fav scenes of the drama please ?
Wang Xing Yue I am cheering for that boy hard cause I read a few days ago that during the shooting of one scene with Wu Jin Yan, his character was supposed to tell WJY's character "You are not young anymore". And WXY wasn't feeling comfortable at all and asked the line to be changed because for him age shouldn't be a barrier for women. People act as if 30+ women are nothing and disposable commodities. I believe this event concerning WXY true. This boy gives me that innocent respectful and human vibe a lot. He doesn't look snobbish for me at least for the moment. I hope he never stops becoming the better version of himself time after time.

From what I read YuZheng had difficulty finding an actor for the ML role. He ended up picking WXY who is 12 years younger than her, for that reason. They started filming when he joined the crew.

When I think that reportedly Wang Xing Yue was joined the team after they started shooting the drama. Boy had to get into character fast

Ringo Yu ! Of course I mentioned him a couple of days ago when I saw him in "The Double". Guy was huge back during HK movies golden era in late 80's/early 90's. He played Xiao En in Joy Of Life season 1 as well. And this is also a compliment to Wang Xing Yue presence and charisma cause boy hold his own playing against a veteran that has been in the game way way before this kid was even a project.

YuZheng probably got scared of the 12-year age gap between the leads - ML was casted last minute.

I gave 10 for the acting. For me the main leads killed. Wang Xing Yue, I keep saying this since SOTKP, is YuZheng best recruit since Chen Xiao. He got mad potential boy needs to remain humble and pay his taxes.

YuZheng annoyed me. Granted he casted WXY last minute but he didn't trust his OTP and decided to not hit it higher with a stronger and more hype romance's growth demanded by such a strong chemistry.
