That drama literally had the best OTP of the f.cking first half of 2024 completely overshadowing all of its flaws and the other dramas with bigger stars airing now ! WANG XING YUE has been literally dominating apps such BiliBili ! Wu Jin Yan and Wang Xing Yue even started having shipper fans not caring at all about 12-year age gap ! A freaking candle ? You kidding me ? Who does sh.t like that ? Making them an official pair in episode 34 ? People lost interest ! Now they gonna shoot an "extra episode" what for ? You wasted so much time on freaking riddles to shoot extra episode -I am watching that sh.t ? They know they f.cked up with what was really the gem of the drama that made people forget about its flaws !

Lol the fact that a brainless director like The Double's here does have ressources directors of mini dramas wished they had, is an enigma. Drama peak views numbers occured when there was a good balance between romance and revenge aka before ep 26 when the 1-min-per-episode riddles between the leads became a thing. By episode 34 with that sh.t of a candled "kiss scene" some viewers lost interest and switched to Tale of Rose. I am noting that director name so I can avoid all of his other works and I hope WXY will never get to work with that brainless sh.t.
Because they take viewers for idiots. Therefore drama is on its way to lose their No1 spot on Yunhe to The Tale of Rose and deservedly. Even Wang Xing Yue showed his frustration several times. Mini dramas stay winning.
Tale of Rose No1 on Yunhe soon. Sorry to sound like a broken record but Wang Xing Yue and I were not the only one not feeling the way the romance was handled in the drama. The Double numbers went down while "Tale of Rose" numbers keeps on climbing tremendously. The joke of the kiss scene today will probably not sit well with the viewers and I wouldn't be surprised tomorrow drama will be No2. Numbers here are not lying and matter of fact they were at their peak during the time when there was a good balance between the revenge and romance between the leads. Let's see how the drama will do tomorrow on yunhe but imo the director of the drama is probably the luckiest most stupid director of a cdrama ever.
