The drama producers need to be smarter then. I still think yesterday episode should have been the confession scene none of that riddle thing they gave us. Sorry but they are sh.t at time management. And the audacity to serve us a candle during a kiss scene (saw in the teaser) 🙄. Like come on who do that type of sh.t ?

The most concerning thing is the execution of their intimate scenes once they will be together. Indeed the dramas makers smell minimalistic on that department. Hopefully I won't be disappointed otherwise it would be a huge waste and a dealbreaker

I will comeback when drama finishes airing to watch it all again. But for now it is on pause. Sorry for sounding so bitter but I act like that because imo "The Double", which is a low budget idol drama probably got the best cdrama OTP of those last 10 years, since the day the dumbo, one-dimensional "pure" snow white with whinny voice female lead became THE dominant archetype of that landscape. "The Double" gives us a pair that is PAIRING (at last !) a couple that is COUPLING (at f.cking last !) and a chemistry that can be cut with a
knife. A MAN and a WOMAN in a costume idol drama that convince me that they will concieve their offsprings through ... a rarity in cdramaland. Therefore I think it is a shame the PD does not tap harder into that potential. He can show the revenge part of the story while intensifying the romance between the leads and speed things up -their dating stage should have started two episodes ago !! For me 10 episodes to show the dating life then the marriage life for a couple of that
caliber is just not mathing. Don't get me started on that candle thing showed in that teaser : that is literal self-sabotaging. I cannot...

The PD is a brainless. The most intelligent I guess was the casting director. He had the genius idea to pair WJY and WXY against all odds.

Now I understand why Wang Xing Yue was lowkeye frustrated about the editing of the wedding scene and even more, one could feel a lil frustration when he said there is only 1 kiss scene in the drama and probably didn't count the "others" (yeah wasting time on riddles or f.cking showing candle during a kiss scene). That filmmaking team is totally stupid or blind to what really elevates their material.

As much as I dig "The Double" I think I will avoid that director's works in the future. How can you kill your own momentum like that ? 0 time management skills whatsoever that is infuriating !
