I get your point but what mean here is you cannot have a OTP of that caliber, of that quality and miss the opportunity to display the manifestations of their love by only showing us riddles or a candle. From my point of view Xiao Heng and XFF is a pair cdramaland has rarely graced us with those last 7 years with a FL I completely cheer for. An onscreen couple like this with loads of chemistry charged with sexual tension and described with so much passion deserves something more explosive and not tame and definitely more than 5 min in an episode.

Early 30's is too late. That drama can't have such a crazy good OTP like that only to be wasted on some "look at the bigger picture" type of thoughts of the director ! And from the look of it he erased a lot of things even Wang Xing Yue did not hide his frustration about it.
The director is shit at time management. 14 episodes left and he freaking gives us 5 mins of the main leads today ? Is he serious ? Next we get kissing scene where we are only shown the candle (as if we have been watching bloody candles since episode 1) ? Then people do wonder why mini dramas are becoming hits. Well they sure know better not to waste their sizzling OTP's chemistry on some riddles nor shit editing. They don't waste time !
