Alright, I have to ask because this is driving me nuts. The song by the Thai band Pause that gets played in the car twice during the first episode, I swear that it was a very popular song for another Thai BL before. I just can't remember which one @___@ Can any of you tell me?

What the shit do we watch now?! Nothing else has grabbed my attention, apart from Sammy's Children's Day...
Love of Silom and Flower Boy will start airing next week and both of them sound intriguing. Maybe try those out :)

Really grandpa, did you really have to bring up the fact he used to be a con artist and conned your grandson?…
it felt kind of deserved though

This was such a great and fulfilling experience. When the movie began, I couldn't stop crying because I had anticipated this moment for seemingly so long. The first beats of the score took me back to all the times I had listened to all of it on Spotify already. ^^
It's truly a great movie, such an intense journey of a determined individual, and at the same time also an emotional story of a difficult friendship/family bond. I was really glad that despite the splendor of the Kabuki performances, the actual life story felt realistic and quite raw in some places. Sometimes people make decisions we don't like, and that's ok. But also, yes, the performances had their own role to play and I loved watching them and follow them throughout the course of the movie.

"...but don't you dare disrespect your father." Cracks me up that your first thought is incest when hearing…
IQIYI, 51:53. And the phrase "messing with" has like 5 different meanings, I don't know why you would jump immediately to a character having an incestual relationship with their father when so many other definitions are possible/make probably more sense.
You can see the father character in the intro to the drama.

I watched the first episode out of boredom after reading some comments... People were saying it's like softcore…
"...but don't you dare disrespect your father." Cracks me up that your first thought is incest when hearing that line. My first thought was actually Gangster or Mafia because of the way the father points his gun and smirks at the same time.

Middle of Episode 7 and I just need to vent a little about Mike's character Oh: he is telling his mother that she is only thinking of her reputation and that he is behaving the way he does because of her. I am sorry but doesn't she have a right to maintain what she has worked for throughout her life? Is it in any way fair to expect her to accept all his shit and thus risk to lose what she has worked for? To go to court? She already did some shady stuff to "help him out with Muenfah" and she clearly told him to stay out of it. Very easy to follow, right? And what does he do? Walks right into the club to cause a massive scene/violence. Let's also mention that he drugged Teerak and his friends in the first episode and wanted to force him into a relationship. And that he tried to blackmail another woman (basically risking the livelihood of her family) into breaking up Fah and Rak. And all the other times he seems to have "messed with" Teerak. Also walking around university and flaunting his name and "power" as if they are anything that he has worked for. It's what his mother has worked for. But yeah, just tell her that you are this way because of a mother who doesn't ask about your self-caused injuries when you are putting her work and her achievements at risk. Sorry, I just had to leave my thoughts somewhere. :D

I really hope the next episode is lighter bc I need something to bring me up
After reading the novel I think I can say that most of the upcoming episodes (regarding Phoon and Fah) will feel much lighter than what we started this season with. There will probably be one more painful episode and the rest will feel more like healing and love and sweetness ^^)

Where did you read it? Is there a translation available?
I just entered the name of Phoon' and Fah's novel into Google (South: Beside the Sky) and it was literally the very first result.

Is this BL or bromance?
From what we see in the trailer and the first episode: it definitely looks like BL

This is… hmm… almost like the vampire series Ramil watched in the first episode. This is an equally boring…
If you had watched the end of the last episode you would at least have a guess for why he reacts that way

I've seen a few people say Charan's expressions are monotonous, but you know, he's a royal guard. Lightly bickering…
Tbh, being expressionless (the way he is required to act) makes it even more fun when something happens that causes Charan to lose his stoic demeanour for a moment. Like when he can't help but to smile or is shocked. And as we have seen with other drama, we will see him open up over he run of the 14 episodes - and then he will show his emotions more clearly. Don't know how else people would expect a royal guard to behave during the first episodes of a drama.

quick question is this show inspired by a Nobel or is it an original serie?Edit (PS): also funny to see everyone…
It's inspired by the novel of the same name, "The Next Prince" by CEO ft. Ennice. You can purchase the English ebooks via the Meb app or the Lunarwrite app, but both books/all chapters cost from 50€ to 60€ @_____@
