I bet my blood is going to be boiling today because of her...
She’s wavering. She is doubting that things are not all they seem and that the king has been the exact same person she’s thought him to be initially. I like that she’s grappling with herself this way. It now becomes a matter of whether she chooses to trust or not. I just hope she makes up her mind once and for all sooner rather than later
I hope in the melee that the King and Secretary Park talk to Seok Jeong about his father pretending that he was…
The momentary shock on Jeong’s face before his mum took away the tea was heartbreaking to see. Every single actor in that frame was amazing which made that scene so good. The councillor is one crazy dude!!!!!!!!!!
I like how the King and Yoon Hak planned that official confession to a crime in the presence of the palace historian. I also liked that they showed the King having a dilemma while agreeing to the plan.
"Honey?" 😁. That's the FL's nickname.I guess I must be the only one in the world on " team husband".
He is cute, I’ll give him that. And gutsy to have come home after his father basically told him to disappear. And yeah, I’ve kinda sorta started taking a liking to him after he hinted at his support for YH’s night-time activities as the masked crusader. I also feel damn sorry for him after he nearly drank that tea eh. Must be a shock to know his father doesn’t give a hoot whether he lives or dies 🙁
However, having said alllll that, SooHo, please run away with YeoHwa 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹
Did you see the epilogue of this ep? Could you translate briefly what the ML said to FL?
From what I understood, after she says that she hasn’t thought that far ahead, he says that he has done so. He would avenge his parents and complete the mission set out by the king and then, basically live for her. He asks her to wait for him till then. And he asks her to stay safe and take care of herself until then. 🥹🥹🥹
She doesn't have much of a range and can't emote. ....So, it's isn't that she's a bad actor or forgettable, she's…
Hahahaha. I am telling myself that they probably had very pretty men like MongWoo in that era which is why she’s getting away with it cos I need to convince my eyes and brain to see beyond her obvious very-feminine-like-female appearance to be able to focus on the story and not how they blatantly show her neck and lack of an Adams apple 😂😂

I feel the same way. I keep seeing the actress and not the character cos I see the same lip biting, the dame giggle, the same wide-eyed look and the same jerky eyebrow movements I have seen in all her other characters. It’s almost like she’s come from Rookie Historian and donned a man’s garb here.
This series wants a Captivated King, which ML is great at, the acting of the FL is exactly how writers and directors…
I don’t think she is stupid (as her intelligence does shine through when she’s plotting and planning for other people and ofcourse her baduk playing skills). But what she’s doing to get rid of the king in her misplaced idea that he doesn’t deserve the throne? Those actions are stupid. She isn’t someone who’s used to playing politics and is familiar with the cutthroat court dynamics as even her father was a peace-loving man. Moreover, she’s garnered the support of people who have no experience in leading such a dangerous mission so all the decision making falls to her. Which I believe is where she’s faltering especially cos she is not morally and personally corrupt like HyunBo.
I hope she’s redeemed sooner rather than later and she puts aside her pride and stubbornness and is able to see Lee In for who he truly is as a king.
This show is an absolute delight. Great comedic timing especially by the female lead, really an outstanding job.…
I also love that the royal family for once is not the typical corrupt, cut throat types. The king is a sweetheart and he loves his mother, bless his soul! And he has such a lovely relationship with his secretary lol. The way he was teasing Yoon Hak about his live life hahahah
Aesthetical appreciation comment: We have already discussed that Lee Jong Won has the most beautiful face, like…
Oh yes!!! I was just watching him in XX and I think his character is gay there and the way he moves his beautiful hands is so graceful ❤️ He’s a lefty and there’s a certain elegance when he’s using his left hand….I don’t know how to explain it 🥹🥹🥹 So beautiful!!!

Lol heads HAVE rolled for less in history 😂
But nope, that is not the case here. She feels betrayed and believes her friend died because Lee In didn’t do anything to save her after his whole speech about how he would never be responsible for the death of his nation’s people. So by extension, she believes he took the throne through nefarious means and maybe even thinks he killed the previous King (as she did see him discussing treason with his uncle and those ministers even though he refused their plans). This has led her to believe that the grand prince should be sitting on the throne and she’s bringing in people whose lives she thinks have been affected by Lee In’s ‘heartlessness’ to help her with her plan.
What she doesn’t know is that Lee In has done none of what she’s accusing him of doing. Which is why I said she’ll be appeased by an apology cos foremost of all, she feels personally betrayed by Lee In when he snubbed her off in front of everyone and said he doesn’t have any friends.
Indeed! I wrote similar thoughts in a comment above, before reading your comment. happy to see that I am not alone…
I don’t think MongWoo has accepted her feelings for Lee In yet. She seemed extremely conflicted when her maid pointed it out to her and said she would do what she meant to do even if she loved him. I have hopes for her and believe the incident with the princess will make her see sense.
I do hope his love life come to fruition

SH looks at YH, YH looks at the husband, the husband looks at the merchant, merchant looks at SH, YW looks at SH, SH looks at the husband, etc etc.
Meanwhile Yoon Hak standing around like a beanpole and once everyone walks away, wonders why he was left all alone 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
That sounds very much like a confession 😭😭😭😭😭
