Omg I love this!!!!!!! The kind of twists and turns they are bringing in!! The FL is one smart cookie and the ML and her make a perfect pair in how they’re all about outsmarting the villains while also taking care of each other. I feel for him. Imagine living a life where you absolutely cannot trust anyone and you are aware of it. AND you’re responsible for the lives of many. I mean, the people around him are all ignorant (including the his brother the previous King) which is why they can play the games they do but GP is self-aware and knows his actions and decisions have consequences and so, he needs to be so careful even when playing these games along with everyone else. I wouldn’t be surprised if he indeed spirals into madness!

I love the age difference etc and how it plays out here. The first scene where he threatens her to stay put and out of trouble is so charged you can see the crackling! Like, yes she is older and more socially aware etc cos of her status as the LSC’s dil and all but he’s such a confident alpha-male who knows he cannot appeal to her sense of safety and security to stay out of trouble cos she’s being doing it for so long. So he just goes “you listen to me or else get ready to face the consequences.” And you know that even though he’s said this, he’ll be the first person to run to her assistance should she get into trouble! Adorable!!!
