I’ve loved him since his first drama as well and you can see how much he’s improved considering he’s had almost zero formal training in the field ♥️ Such a hardworking guy! He’s definitely got the looks but without all that hardwork and persistence it would mean nothing and he’s doing so well cos of that. I absolutely loved him as Xiao Run in LBFAD 😀

I kept telling myself how damn lucky Sheng Yang is to have such amazing parents. Luo Meijuan’s insecurity about the relationship was so real but the way Sheng Yang handled it was so good. Precisely because he knew without a doubt that his place in his home was never at risk. I loved their dynamics so much and I loved how fearless Sheng Yang is because of his confidence in his parents love for him.
Jian Bing is who I aspire to be. Her poise, confidence, maturity and self-assurance is…aaagh I love her! Her seeming indifference at Xue Ming’s exploits and escapades makes so much sense once they showed us her experience with her dad. Inspite of it, she handled the separation and the discovery of Xue Ming’s relationship with Shan Shan so beautifully. And how she eventually lets herself be vulnerable with Sheng Yang.
I love the attention to detail in this show, but the speed with which they get around town is astounding. 🤣…
LOL!!!!!!!!! This is something I have noticed in many C-dramas. 🤣🤣🤣 Sometimes even the lighting doesn’t make sense. Like it’ll be dark when they start at once place and then its dawn/dusk types when they get to the place and the clock/watch will show 12.30am. And they’ll still say something like “Oh we came here in 30minutes.” or some such. I have made myself believe that time and distance do not follow regular rules in modern Chinese dramas 🤣🤣🤣

I think he is still too heartbroken to discern things objectively. To me it felt like he wants Yun Weishan to be out of sight and consequently out of mind for Zhi Yu. From Elder Yur’s perspective, if she left on her own accord, then Zhi Yu would probably find peace irrespective of whatever happens to her. Unlike Elder Yue who is still hurting from being the one to make the suggestion of letting Yun Que “pretend” to go (by way of death).
