I get the impression that the CEO dude is also in on it. He seemed a bit obsessed with keeping Do Ha’s identity under wraps and it also felt like he was in cahoots with the mother.
It’s a bit weird how they suddenly showed us that his his wife is having an affair…what are they foreshadowing ??? Was the guy’s name the same as Do Ha’s real name?

His character is quite different here and I personally like it a lot more than his earlier ones tbh. He’s unexpectedly good at the whole cold, stoic, dark and brooding character he’s playing here compared to all his previous earnest, goody-two-shoes ones 😀 And he looks so damn good here in those suits!

That WAS a particularly kinky scene honestly 🤣🤣🤣🤣 And I blame the expressions on Rowoon’s face for turning it into something other than creepy!!!! 🤭🫣😁🤣😂 And he looks exceptionally yummy here with his dark suits and brooding and smoldering - unlike his usual puppy-like enthusiasm and bubbly characters
I’ve just finished it and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Qi Pa was hilarious in her scheming and planning and Kui Mulang was a charming lead. Loved the last few episodes as the pace really picked up. I didn’t care much for the villains and thought that they were there just to show Qi Pa and Kui Mulang how to work through their issues and get closer as a couple.
I like that Kui Mulang didn’t get the Holy Pearl by kissing Qi Pa but by killing Su He. And what a way to kill her! That was one of my favourite scenes and thought that Kui Mulang looked exceptionally good looking there! I am a sucker for werewolves and other paranormal creatures and CZY did a great job bringing Kui Mulang to life! Their chemistry was good and I loved how he got aggressive with her at the end with the whole “You’ve been seducing me since you came here and I am not going to stay quiet any longer” Eeeps! 😍😍
The side characters were good too and I am sad for Chun’er 😔 I wish we could have seen Qi Pa’s parents interacting with Kui Mulang 😀
All in all a good, easy watch filled with fun and entertainment 🙂

Absolutely!!!!! That was one of my fav scenes from the episode especially with the way Won brought himself out of it and addressed the staff so firmly, and with patience and determination so she gets where he’s coming from. Goes to show how much he really cares! The fact that his trauma is the reason for him to make sure the hotel is “genuine”. I’ll say it again- I’d love to work for a manager like Gu Won ☺️

Yes, makes sense. I was also wondering why she never told him. I think it could also be cos Won’s dad was involved? I seem to get the feeling that she gets where the dad is coming from especially knowing Won’s mother’s story. And this is her way of saying, “Right, if this is what he wants then let’s get on with it cos it’s not worth the price of the relationship.” I’m wondering if Won spoke to her about his conversations with his dad (btw, go Tiger balm for fixing broken parent-child relationships!!) and she knows it’s a crucial time for Won.
