The king is a star ⭐️🤩 Such a cool dude! Lol He’s raising the future king so well and I liked him even more for that!

Okay this is officially my most favorite of Rowoon’s dramas 😍 I am happy that I finally got to see one that did good justice to his role and he did so well!!!!! I loved the main couple and I also loved all the side couples. Such healthy and heart warming relationships all around - be it between the king and the queen/son-in-law/son etc or any of the side characters. They’re all so precious 🥹

Lady Jo is one tough cookie. Such a devious mind. I’d love to know what her story is seeing how calculated and shrewd she is.

And I love Soon Deok for her kindness and compassion. In the end, love did win.

I know!!!! He is so cute! And such a perfect choice for this character. He does the whole “smitten with Yeon Woo” look so well!!!! Such expressive eyes and I have a weakness for his lisp 😍

It is so nice to shut off my brain and just enjoy the nonsensical fantasy, though. And Jianci is such eye candy!!!!! After all the serious stuff I’ve seen him in so far, this is a lovely change. I am looking forward to his next drama too !!

I wish I could enjoy it as it started off really strong and I loved Rowoon’s character in the first few episodes. Now I am trying to read between the lines and figure out if there’s more to it than is shown and feeling a sense of relief that it’s ending next week 😕 I would have loved to see it as a longer, properly fleshed out historical with the follow through in modern times…this is just like they’re making up reasons on the fly to explain plot holes 🤷🏻‍♀️

I was watching that scene and taking notes 😂😂😂 Like, “Note to self: Order the food and make it expensive.” 🤣🤣

Lol the whiplash! Tbh, I haven’t had a chance to focus on his character cos of all the ffwding I do when he’s with Bo Ah 😂 I actually really enjoyed his cold, harsh personality and would have loved it if he kept at it as it was different from his usual puppy dog characters 😂 I think I still like him cos he is like that when he’s with the other characters (the scenes I actually do watch) especially that scene with the ex and her lover

I feel the same way too 🙁 I think it’s the way Bo -Ah is playing the character with the whole cutesy, lip-biting, smitten girlish vibe and that is putting me totally off sadly 🙁 I want to focus on what they’re saying when they’re together as some of it is very relevant to the flow of the story but I find myself ffwding their scenes together and missing a lot.

Anyways, I shall keep watching and ffwding as I do want to know where it leads 🙂🙂
