Yes, they’re such pitiful characters. You can feel SeungHee’s desperation when she told InHo that she wouldn’t leave him. I felt for her everytime she got emotional and tried to start a fight with him. I feel like JungSuk is better off compared to the two as she’s got some clarity about what she wants out of her life.

I am trying to remember if he ever gave her the impression that he was interested in her romantically and I remember a scene in a library where he said he would wait for her to come to him whenever she’s ready to, I think? 🤔 Yikes! I get BXS - he was taken in as the dark lord’s protégée when he was really young and it became all about serving his lord and master’s wishes from then on and in the end, to him, YH was just a means to fulfilling this purpose. Yes he has feelings for YH (or THINKS he has whereas he’s probably just projecting his issues and reimagining the affection he needed from his mother) and believes he’s showing her concern by being clingy. But he’s always been a self-centered and self-serving individual and that means he’ll do whatever it takes to see to it that YH remains by his side. In this regard, I don’t see him as an interfering SML but definitely more as a dangerous individual to be by YH’s side now that she’s at her most vulnerable emotionally. I hope she just uses him as a crutch to get back in her feet and then, draws very clear boundaries with him or he’ll end up something to really hurtful methinks. Or..he might just end up surprising us, who knows!! 🤷🏻♀️😀
