Eng translation in the novel is not about waiting 1000 years, nor to reunite. In the novel there are two scenes,…
Maybe the “meet you” meant so that he could be reunited with his scale and not about meeting YH per se? They made that scene seem very romantic in the drama too with him whispering in her ear but it could be just him feeling relieved/excited at seeing his scale still intact in her etc

Omigosh yes! I used to get so frustrated with the MDL site cos I couldn’t type as fast as I wanted to or get long enough paras so my Note app was working overtime and then copy-pasting 😂😂😂😂 Those were the days..sigh.
Yes! I love that trope too where they don’t just walk away from each other (unless ofcourse it’s too toxic and one or both parties are not in a space to understand they have issues!) but do whatever they need to do to get through their issues.

Lol yes! I believe you and I interacted quite a bit back then , too 😀 Yeah their relationship was honestly a trial by fire compared to these two 😂😂I remember though how she was always loyal and supportive to YY despite her personal feelings for him and that was so mature of her. I see some parallels of that here too
I also find it very interesting, that TY can look at his trauma from other (SY) side , I still think it's very…
Yes! This is a case of the motivations being different but the actions being the same. It happens in real life too where you hear “You’re just like xyz! You behaved in exactly the same way and you did exactly what they did!” but you have no idea how! 😅

Absolutely! ❤️ I feel like that one best friend who’s in the middle of two good people feeling helpless at their heart ache 😅
Another time I felt this way was while watching Immortal Samsara. There was a general consensus about how YanDan was being wishy-washy with her feelings for YingYuan but she had her own reasons. I remember most comments being like, “She should just get over it and move on or let him go!” etc 😀. But that moment when he apologised to her by the pond and they cried and kissed, it felt like the rains coming down on parched land after a severe drought.
We rarely get FLs whose so firm on rejecting an ML asking for forgiveness despite knowing the truth. I can only…
Yes! And I absolutely love how YH voices her thoughts out loud (which also helps us as viewers to understand where she’s coming from). I feel like out of all the characters, I appreciate YH the most simply for this fact. She understands everyone’s motivations at any given point and talks about it which in turn I feel gives them the space to be equally frank and honest with her. TY ofcourse is a bit slow on the uptake cos he genuinely didn’t realise that he hadn’t explained the situation to her before stabbing her (or even after) and he still probably thinks it’s the scale that she’s hung up on (atleast until she explained and he got an opportunity to reflect on it). I also appreciate that he’s not pushing his pov and emotions onto her when she’s not in a space to hear him out and also adore that he follows her and takes care of her in his own subtle ways without just letting go and walking away. And like you said, I also feel like once they cross this bridge, they’ll be stronger together. They’re both such good people
I honestly think that YH's reaction to the situation is so real. Because of her kindness, she can't completely…
Yes! I bet he had NO idea this is what he did and the fact that she called him out on it is even more satisfying. We do pass on trauma without realising it and I am so glad she brought it to his attention which, hopefully, he can reflect on. He is genuinely a kind and compassionate person so I have high hopes for him.
Also, the reference to “keep him out of her head so it hurts less” - the dark aura is such a good metaphor for all the dark thoughts/feelings/emotions we have and how it takes control of us at times without us even realising it.
I think the disability card and the fact that it was used on the car which drove thr mistress around was the last…
Yes, she does seem like she’s holding back a lot especially for the sake of her daughter. Also, she knows about InHo’s mum’s affair so that will be interesting 😀
if so they've completely hacked the novel character then...
Hmmmm! I seem to remember the grand shifu meditating surrounded by dark energy meaning he is cultivating to become a demon and LingXiao was trying to set up a boundary or some sort..lots sort of make sense now. I could be completely off mark but speculating is fun 😀 Now just to figure out how BxS fits in

The king is actually the dark lord methinks 🤔 Something happened (guessing a Taoist is to blame - the old grand master from YH’s sect seems likely) and he became dark aura-ed and his wife gave up her life trying to save him or some such. The purple eyed fellow is … well I haven’t thought about who he is yet hehehe
I think the disability card and the fact that it was used on the car which drove thr mistress around was the last…
Yes exactly. I also feel like had she known about the affair while she was still staying home, she wouldn’t have reacted this way. It would have been easier for everyone to pull the wool over her eyes and gaslight her into believing that it’s in her and her family’s best interest for her to stay put. However, now that she’s started unpeeling all her layers and bringing back her old self, she’s finally seeing her worth. Also, she hasn’t been able to process InHo’s and Seung Hi’s betrayal properly as there’s just a lot going on all at once. Dr Roy said it well - “Spend a bit of the energy you spend on others on yourself “ In this way, seeing that disability sticker especially when she was feeling so emotional and vulnerable would have been the last straw.
I am personally liking the direction the drama is going in - there’s just no certainty about what she’ll do. Every time she takes the effort to make a decision, she’s thrown a curve ball and has to start again. She is going to crack at some point and go “enough is enough!” and I can’t wait for that moment. Because I feel like she’ll be certain of her decision that time and will stick with it no matter what.

Loved Neo’s acting in ep18! His subtle expressions were spot on I thought. And, why does he seem even more good looking?! 👀
Btw, what happened when he faced off with Suying’s sister?! Obviously he won but how???? Missed out on an epic fight scene 😔
