This is an interesting point because there were instances where the Void Tyrant almost seemed..human. It almost felt like he was behaving in a cruel/ruthless manner for the sake of keeping up appearances as that is what was expected of him and that has then become his personality. And of course, the Empress contributed to that a LOT! I am paying especial attention to the void realm on my rewatch to see if I can pick out on if there is a specific reason the VT denounced CF and his mother just before his death.
