Xuanyi gave a spoiler yesterday saying this is an extremely funny drama!
She also said that due to some stuff, the broadcasting date is being pushed back… But she gave a 3 sign, so fans are speculating that this drama would air at end of March!
Since go princess go 2 might be coming soon, I’ll take this chance to clarify the 2 personas of the ML aka the wolf “ugly” appearance (Kui mulang) and handsome appearance (Li Xiong).
Basically no one in the huashou tribe ever saw ML’s wolf appearance except for Liu Jun and ML’s handsome appearance is the dream of all the girls in the tribe.
When ML first met FL, he gone with the wolf appearance, henceforth FL’s first reaction was “so ugly!” (There is a reason why he decided to go with that look so watch the drama then!)
So the FL always thought ML was ugly and the FL has the traits of her mum Zhang Peng Peng and wanted to run away. Thus, when will FL get to know that ML is actually handsome? Stay tuned to find out! (ps: FL actually talked to ML in his handsome form but didn’t know he’s actually ML) this means that you’ll be up on a “you lied to me all this while?” kinda drama when the revelation comes.
Side note: I saw on Baidu that ML’s appearance changes in the day to Li Xiong and at night to Kui Mulang. However, in the novel, he can change as and when he likes so we’ll see how it goes!
This isn’t the whole story but just forms 1 part of it so come and watch it to see what else there is in the storyline when it airs!!!

For this story I wouldn’t particularly say that the ML will be her saviour (this wasn’t in the novel) as it’s more of like FL trying to escape from ML in the first few parts (idk how the drama will change) but in the original novel, both of them are entangled through their past lives (in the drama, this past live stuff would most likely be cancelled since FL does not hold 2 names and another character has the same name as the past life name, so we’ll see how it goes) Happy new year btw!
Xiang zhaoyang is not part of the novel but is an extra story that the author wrote after the novel that tells the story of zhaoyang as she regretted not putting her in. Henceforth, this drama placed the character zhaoyang into this drama!

It seems like there'll be a love triangle between Qi Pa, Kui Mulang and Su He (In the original novel, Su He is actually Qi Pa's past life identity but the drama changed it to become 2 different people) (For better understanding, if you've watched eternal love, Su He will most likely act like Su Jin)
Kui Mulang will have a figure of like the dream partner for all in the monster kingdom(?) But Qi Pa will only see his wolf appearance and think he's ugly in the beginning!
Kui Mulang and Jing MuAn are brothers, but Jing MuAn wants to steal the king position(?) (In the novel, there's no brother, Jing MuAn is a new character for the drama)
Liu Jun and Bai Ke are Kui Mulang's right and left hand man. Liu Jun especially loyal. (I forgot what animals they are in the novel)
Hong Xiu was scouted by Kui Mulang to serve Princess Qi Pa. (Their relationship in the novel is very funny so I hope it'll continue in the drama) (In the novel, hong xiu is a fox)
Hong Xiu and Liu Jun will be one couple (although liu jun will keep on rejecting her)
Bai Ke and Hu Die another couple (Hu Die seems to be a new addition to the drama)
Hai Tang and Jing MuAn will be another couple (In the novel, Hai Tang is actually fake Su He, meaning that she thought she was Su He in her past life, and attempted to sabotage Qi Pa) (Since there's already a Su He in this drama, I wonder how the story will go)
Ma Yingxiong (literal translation is hero) and chun er will be another couple. (Both are new additions to the drama, although Ma Yingxiong's character is similar to xiaoshan in the novel, might have just changed names maybe?)
